Where To Find All Special World Entrances In Super Mario Bros Wonder

You Need To Find Each Entrance To The Special World To Unlock The X Badge

There is a hidden Special World that’s home to the hardest courses in the game. This guide on Where To Find All Special World Entrances In Super Mario Bros Wonder will tell you how you can find and unlock each of the entrances in each of the six worlds as each entrance leads to different challenges.

Where To Find All Special World Entrances In Super Mario Bros Wonder

Pipe-Rock Plateau (W1) Special World Entrance

Pipe-Rock Plateau (W1) Special World Entrance
To reach the Special World from Pipe-Rock Plateau, you need to complete an alternate route in one of the Courses. Head to the Bulrush Express Course. You will need an Elephant power-up. This is made easier if you complete the game first and unlock the All Elephant Power Badge. Otherwise, you need to survive the entire Bulrush Express course and still have Elephant form ready at the end. At the end of the mission, before you exit via the pipe, there are wall blocks you can destroy. This reveals a new exit path.

If you finish the mission using that method, you will then unlock Sproings in the Twilight Forest, followed by Cosmic Hoppos, and Expert Badge Challenge Jet Run I. Once you complete all of those, the entrance to the Secret World becomes available.

Fluff-Puff Peaks (W2) Special World Entrance

On the second tier of Fluff-Puff Peaks you will find a Course called Pole Block Passage. I don’t think there is anything special about this one. I just completed all of the missions on this level and the path to the East, directly next to Pole Block Passage opened up. Follow the path and complete Jump! Jump! Jump! and Expert Badge Challenge Spring Feet I, then the Special World entrance is the next marker.

Shining Falls (W3) Special World Entrance

The Shining Falls Special World Entrance can be found at the Royal Seed Mansion. I had completed much of the game by this point but I assume you only need to complete the Shining Falls region. Return to the Royal Seed Mansion and speak with the person inside. They will tell you about a new challenging path they have opened. This should reveal the entrance to the Special World just to the left of the Royal Seed Mansion.

Sunbaked Desert (W4) Special World Entrance

To gain access to this area of the Sunbaked Desert, you need to complete another alternate ending. Head to the Secrets of Shova Mansion course in the Sunbaked Desert and proceed right through until the end. A few seconds before the final flag there are a group of brown blocks in the floor. There’s an enemy nearby and a platform you can push. You need to kill the enemy, break the blocks in the floor, and then push the platform into the hole left by the blocks. This will create a warp pipe that allows you to find the alternative exit. Complete the missions that unlock next to reach the Special World Entrance.

Fungi Mines (W5) Special World Entrance

The Secret World Entrance for the Fungi Mines can be found at the end of the area, in the mission Operation Poplin Rescue. Complete it a second time and both the Poplin and flower will complain at the end, and thank you for rescuing the Poplin a second time. After this is complete, the path to the Secret World Entrance is revealed.

Deep Magma Bog (W6) Special World Entrance

A map showing where to find Deep Magma Bog (W6) Special World Entrance
To reach this Secret World Entrance you need to practically 100% the Deep Magma Bog by getting nearly every single Wonder Seed. You will likely be two short, after completing all the levels you can reach. Head to the Where the Rrrumbase Rule course and go inside. Once inside, follow the course until you reach the area shown above. You will need the Drill power-up to access the next part. Above you, next to the pipes, drill into the ceiling and follow it right. This will take you through a crack in the wall. Go through the crack in the wall and you will reach an alternative exit. This gives you 1 Wonder Seed and then unlocks a challenge for the second. You then need to head to the lower left side of the Deep Magma Bog and unlock the blocked path.

Complete the Jet Run II challenge, Invisibility II challenge, and Spring Feet II challenge, you will then be able to access the Secret World Entrance.

Petal Isles Special World Entrance

A map showing the location of Petal Isles Special World Entrance
Once you have reached the end of the Petal Isles area, near the Deep Magma Bog mine entrance, there is a Wiggler Race called Spelunking. Complete that race and a pathway opens up. Head up the waterfall to the very start of the Petal Isles area and you will see a new platform that will transport you to the Special World.

And that’s all of the secret entrances to the Special World.
