The best way to assign Pals to ranch in Palworld is to assign a Pal that has the farming ability.
For instance, if you look at the cow Mozzarina (above), you can see that his Work Suitability is farming level 1 with a passive ability. Not all Pals have it, however.
When you put the cow down, they will start grazing; that is the activity that you are looking for at the farm. Every morning that passes, he will drop milk. Just be careful that he doesn’t get assigned anything else.
