To aid in its design, the team is working with Stefano Tsai (Thor: Love & Thunder, His Dark Materials) to consult on specific details. This, in turn, is helping Coin Operated Games properly portray Chinese culture and affairs.

Stefano Tsai said the following:

“It was great fun working with Coin Operated Games to make their version of China come to life. They were very interested in making sure that certain aspects were just right.”Stefano Tsai

John Randall, Creative Director of EMPYRE, added:

“There are so many elements to Chinese culture that are so hard to capture and implement correctly. I don’t know how we could have done it without Stefano’s assistance.”John Randall

All those interested can wishlist the game via the official Empyre: Earls of the Deep Earth Steam page.
