Where To Find The Bow In Dying Light 2

There are a couple ways to get a bow in Dying Light 2 but both require time. I started seeing bows at shops like the Bazaar and the PK HQ selling bows from time to time when I go to player rank 3. They weren’t common, but I did find a couple during my playthrough. They are normally artifact level and very expensive.

The second option is to keep going through the story. As you progress you and Hakon will get into trouble with an enemy sniper who has a crossbow. You need to run the sniper down and catch them without getting shot. Once you do, you will complete a quest and then get a bow as your reward. You also get the recipe to build more arrows which is nice.

You might be able to get lucky and find them in dark zones and in certain supply caches, but I wouldn’t count on it.

Upgrading blueprints in Dying Light 2 is essential to keeping your self strong. Check out this guide to find out how to upgrade blueprints in Dying Light 2. This way your weapon mods can be as powerful as possible when the time comes.

How To Upgrade Blueprints In Dying Light 2

Tp upgrade your blueprints you will need a few things. First you will need to be at a craftmaster. You can find them in most major hubs and sometimes in the minor ones and windmills. They have a wrench and hammer icon over their person in camps.

Talk to them and the second tab is upgrade, this is where you upgrade your mods. Scroll over the mod and you will see what is needed to upgrade. Normally you need some sort of infected trophy, one other crafting thing, and then some cash. Each upgrade will add damage or duration, or give some other buff to your item that you upgrade. Each time you upgrade you will have to give more stuff for the next upgrade, so watch how much you are spending.

I recommend doing your lockpick and medkit to level two or three ASAP because you use them both constantly. From there try to have one or two main mods that you keep upgraded.

Co op in Dying Light 2 can be a little confusing to get working. Check out this guide to find out how to co-op in Dying Light 2. This way you and your friends can start smacking zombies and doing parkour all over town.

How To Co Op In Dying Light 2

In order to get to co-op, you first need to get to the main part of the city. You need to get through the tunnels, get the bio marker, and then have Hakon set you free in the city. When all of that happens, press start and go to online options. Here you will see a few different choices to pick from. Go down to online options first.

From there make it either a public or friends only game. If you want to invite some friends, go to the friends list after you make it public or friends only and you can invite them. You can also add people as your favorites from this screen and invite them later on if you want.

You can join random people’s games by going to quick join or find games. The host is the one who makes all the decisions, you can pick the one you want, but the host makes the call.

The takedown mechanic in Dying Light 2 is a little weird and you might be wondering why it isn’t working. Check out this guide to find out how to do takedowns in Dying Light 2. This way you can stop being caught when you try to do it in houses.

How To Do Takedowns In Dying Light 2

If you were like me, you tried to do a takedown early and got caught. The takedown mechanic like Dying Light 2 works a little differently than you might be expecting. If you look at a zombie from behind you will see a number above their heads. This is their level. You need to be a higher level or the same level for your takedown to kill the enemy in one shot.

You can find your rank in the main menu on the top right. It goes up as you get more Parkour and Combat levels. Now if you are Player rank 2 then you can do a takedown to level 2 zombies and kill them in one shot. Some of the specials work as well such as the howler and the spitter. I didn’t get the try the big guy but my guess is no. If someone tries it out and it works let us know.

There are also a couple of take down skills in the skill tree if you want to do knife takedowns to take out armored humans.

Dying Light 2 Tower Safe Code

Climbing the tower is a bit of a pain in the neck, so we have a video here if you need some help with that.

Once you near the top you will enter a room with a bed, some light, and a safe in the corner. If you use your survivor sense you can see that there is a piece of paper sticking out of the wall near a poster. It is weird to grab, but if you angle yourself right the button should pop up. Grab it and check it out to see a math problem inside.

The code for me was 510, but yours might be different. With the code you can open up the safe and find the last tape of the guy leaving them around the Bazaar. It isn’t a great reward but the puzzle wasn’t that hard. Head up to the top of the tower from there and finish your quest.

Repairing weapons in Dying Light 2 is a little tricky since you can’t just do it from the crafting menu. Check out this guide to find out how to repair weapons in Dying Light 2. This way you can keep your favorite weapons for awhile and upgrade them.

How To Repair Weapons In Dying Light 2

The first thing you will need to do before repairing weapons is unlock weapon mods. Keep going with the main story until you get to that point. Now any weapon that you can mod can be repaired. Select a weapon you want to repair and click the mod button. If you can’t mod it, it can’t be repaired.

Pick a mod and put it on the weapon. You will see that it gets slightly repaired when you do this. You will get 50 durability per mod so you can easily fix up a weapon that you want to keep. If the same weapon gets low you cannot slap a new mod on it, so you might have to get a new weapon. I normally can get a few weapons to last one rank and then switch as I rank up.

Just make sure you can mod the weapon before you try to repair it. No mods equals no repairs.

Military Tech is incredibly rare and it can be easily missed if you don’t know where to look. You are looking for Military Airdrop locations. These are ? markers on the map that can be revealed when you are looking through your binoculars. However, it’s wise to check the icon on the map. If the icon is red, inspect it closer and it will tell you what you’re missing. Some of these locations require the glider or a certain level of Stamina in order to reach the top.

Important: It’s very easy to miss the Military Tech if you’re not paying attention. Once you open the chest at the Military Airdrop, look closely to find the hidden compartment on the right side of the chest. Interact with it using your GRE Key to open the compartment to get the Military Tech.

Switching between night and day is vital for survival in Dying Light 2. This guide on How To Sleep In Beds In Dying Light 2 may seem simple enough but there are a few situations where sleeping in a bed won’t work. If you’re currently running from infected or need to rest to heal, a broken bed isn’t much help.

If you’re here, you’re likely in the middle of a chase and you’ve run to a safe zone to find a bed so you can sleep through the night. To answer the question immediately, if you cannot sleep in a bed at a safehouse, the bed is bugged. We only had this happen a couple of times but sometimes you cannot interact with the bed. Sometimes restarting the game fixes this but a couple of the beds seem to be bugged permanently.

How To Sleep In Beds In Dying Light 2

If the bed is working correctly, you simply approach it and hold the appropriate button (Square on PS or X on Xbox). This will pass the time to the next phase of the day. For example, if you go to sleep at 3pm, it will take you to the night. If you sleep during the night, it will pass time to the day. This can be annoying as if you’re hoping to sleep through to the morning but it’s late afternoon or evening, you will need to rest twice. It’s a bit of a pain but you get used to it.

The bed must be in a safe zone for you to be able to sleep in it. You can’t sleep in random beds found in the city.

  • You can only sleep in beds in safehouses you have unlocked (marked by green icons on the map)
