Dragon Quest Builders Chapter 2 Challenge Guide – Obtain The Crown Goowels

You can only complete this challenge once you have unlocked the Red Teleportal. You also need the Fishing Rod that you unlock during Chapter 2 quests. Once you have it unlocked go through it and follow the waterway out to the open area. When you reach the open area, the swampy area with all the trees, turn South East and travel to a small pond.

Using your birds-eye view is the easiest way to find it. As you can see in the screenshot at the top of the article, the pond itself looks like a slime. You’ll need to fish out the King Slime although it can take a while. I arrived at night time in-game and didn’t catch it until the following night. You can catch she-slimes, normal slimes, metal slimes or even the slime material. It may take a while but I assure you, it is there, just keep going. Once you kill the King Slime it will drop The Crown Goowels.
