How To Unlock Super Saiyan God In Dragon Ball Z Kakarot

In order to get Super Saiyan God mode, you must first access the DLC. To do that, enter the game and go into the start menu. Head on down to Add-ons and select the first DLC and you will be warped there. You can bring any buffs from food with you, so you might want to eat before traveling. When you get there, you will meet both Whis and Beerus who will inform you that you are going to be trained here. Only Vegeta and Goku can unlock Super Saiyan God mode and as such they are the only ones who can be played here.

After you get done talking with Whis, he will give you some challenges to overcome. Neat the first one and you will unlock the transformation challenges. If you come in fresh, you can unlock Super Saiyan and the other transformations this way. If you already unlocked them, you have to play them anyways but are rewarded with items for your effort. After you beat the last one, Super Saiyan 2 with Vegeta and Super Saiyan 3 with Goku, you will get a final challenge to unlock Super Saiyan God mode. This is a level 100 fight with Beerus and it can be intense. You can’t actually beat him, but you have to stop his super attack at the end of battle of you lose. You have plenty of time as long as you use super moves against him. When you win, Super Saiyan God is unlocked and new moves are opened up as well.

Getting Woodchips for Mr Popo is a Substory in DBZ Kakarot. This guide tells you Where To Find Woodchips In Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot as you need to find and collect 15 Woodchips, with very little information on where you can find them and what they look like.

The Woodchips can only be found on the East Ravine Map. Here there is a very large stream running through the map, mostly at the bottom of a deep ravine. Mr Popo doesn’t give you many clues but he does state that they cannot be gathered from living trees. As the image above, the trees you are looking for are dead trees – specially dead trees that have fallen.

Where To Find Woodchips In Dragon Ball Z
All but one of the Woodchips can be found very close to the waters edge. If you start in the lower right corner of the map, the first three are all near the waters edge. The one near the town is not, it’s near a parked car on the outskirts of the village.

The final one to the North West, is also very close to the waters edge, just before you enter the large cave. They are purple orbs, so you can use your Ki Sense to be able to locate the purple orbs once you are within range.

The Flying Nimbus allows Goku to fly around the world atop a small cloud. This guide on How To Get Off Nimbus In Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot explains how to dismount the Nimbus when you want to run around and explore on foot or fly, as Goku can fly without Nimbus in much of the game.

A quick note. There are certain parts of the game where you are forced to fly in the Nimbus, this includes sequences played as both Gohan and Goku. During these scenarios, you cannot dismount or explore on foot, you are forced to progress through to the next sequence while staying mounted on the Flying Nimbus at all times.

How To Get Off Nimbus In Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot

The Nimbus works the same way as other mounts, such as the DBZ Kakarot Car. Certain characters at certain points in the game, usually Intermission chapters, can summon a vehicle if it has been unlocked. Once you have unlocked R&D fully, you can begin building machines and other alternative forms of travel.

For the Nimbus, dismounting is simple. You press Down on the D-Pad. Up on the D-Pad brings up your different options of mounts and vehicles. Down on the D-Pad unsummons the mount so you’re free to progress on foot. If this method does not work, you’re in part of the game where it’s necessary to remain on Nimbus.

Where To Find Frozen Rabbit Meat In DBZ Kakarot

In order to get Frozen Rabbit Meat in DBZ Kakarot, you will have to head up to the Darlinge Polyna map. Here you can find what you are looking for around the lake, and in the woods. You are looking for blocks of ice similar to this one in the picture.

Where To Find Frozen Rabbit Meat In Dragon Ball Z Kakarot

You need to use your Ki blasts to break these down and inside you will find the Frozen Rabbit Meat. There are a few scattered in the area, and an NPC will even call it out if he is near one. I only had to break one but I found about five while flying around. Search up on the cliffs, in the woods, and near the beach of the ice lake if you need more.

At first, you will only have access to your food from the DLC. Press start and go into your inventory. From there, work your way to the meals section and you will find your three star dishes that you got for DLC. The bonuses on the bottom are permanent, so eat it up for a boost early on. The Bonyu Training mission doesn’t unlock until you reach the Android Saga. Vegeta will unlcok training at Capsule Corp and when you switch back to Goku he will be asked to go there. When you speak to the training lady, Bonyu training will be open. If you beat her, you will get her Soul Emblem, which is pretty strong. The Yamcha side quest opens up during the Android Saga as well. You will see the blue side quest icon near Goku’s house when it is ready.

Soul Emblems in DBZ Kakarot are one of the many ways you can power up your fighters. Check out this Dragon Ball Z Kakarot Soul Emblem guide to find them all and become as strong as possible. Some are easy to find while others can be hidden well.

Soul Emblems represent a characters innate abilities. They can be placed within Communities that buff various stats and offer different benefits. Each Soul Emblem can also be leveled up and improved by giving gifts, although the gifts are mostly universal so it’s up to you how to customize each of your Soul Emblems.

DBZ Kakarot Soul Emblem Guide

As you get more Soul Emblems, you can make more matches and really fill out the community buff list. You can put almost any emblem on any board, but they specialize in one area each. Look at their levels and decide best where you want to place them based on that.

After each saga is an intermission, usually some basic story quests and more side quests open at these points. Our guide below shows you each of the side quests available in the different sagas and the following intermission. Each Substory is also directly tied to one of the 7 different Community Boards, we’ve included that information in the brackets.

You need to progress through the story until you are in the Android Saga. After a few missions you will be tasked with speaking to Bulma so that she can build you and Chi-Chi a car. At this point you will unlock the R&D system – the ability to build, customize, and upgrade robots and vehicles.

Once unlocked, simply speak with Bulma inside Capsule Corp and she will build you vehicles if you have the correct materials. You can make the Hover Car so that you can participate in the racing events in the game.

Want to farm gift items to increase your Community levels? This guide on Where To Find More Gift Items In Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will tell you all the different places and methods you can use to find more gift items quickly, so you can maximize each of the Community Skills on your Community Board.

Once you have completed part of the beginning of the game and viewed the tutorial on how to give gifts in DBZ Kakarot, you’re free to find and distribute gifts as you please. Gifts are quite common throughout the game but giving gifts to the right people is paramount for ensuring your communities flourish as early as possible.

Where To Find More Gift Items In Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot

Once you have unlocked Soul Emblems you can give gifts to the character to improve their community stats and community skills, these are especially effective on community leaders. However, you will need a lot of gifts if you want to maximize the community skills available.

Working Through The Story
It’s an obvious one but one that works. Many of the story missions offer huge experience points bonuses and also occasionally some gift items. It’s not the best source of farming as each mission can only be completed one time initially but the further in the campaign you are, the higher ranked gift items become available with the other methods.

Complete Substories
The Substories in DBZ Kakarot are quick, easy, and often offer some great insight into the Dragon Ball world. All of the Substories belong to one of the categories of Communities, such as Cooking or Z Warriors, and those particular Substories provide gifts for those specific categories. It’s tough to go for a single category as they are all spread out but if you want to advance your communities quickly, this is one of the best methods of finding more gifts.

Search The World
There are a lot of items scattered throughout the game world. Pay special attention to purple orbs and other rare items, using your Kai Sense (L1/LB) to track them down. It’s not a fast method but if you’re passing one of the way to another objective, a few seconds to pick it up goes a long way.

Take Down Enemy Bases
The best method we’ve found for getting more gifts so far, destroying enemy bases. These come in various forms throughout the game. During the Saiyan Saga, Red Ribbon Towers will begin to appear. Later, after you’ve completed the Frieza Saga, Frieza’s spaceships will begin to appear on Earth. These are both easily found using the map, with distinct icons, it’s not difficult to track them down. Use your Ki Blasts to destroy them. You’ll sometimes get ingredients and other useful items but more often than not, you will find a lot of gift items. They respawn after a short time so it’s easy to get a decent number of gifts this way.

Dragon Ball Z Kakarot Gift Giving Guide
You can give all your Soul Emblems gifts in DBZ Kakarot. This Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Gift Giving Guide explains who is the best person for each kind of gift, how you give gifts, where you can find more gifts, and all of your gift related questions.

Gifts are special items scattered throughout the game that can be given to members of your community to increase their community stats and friendship level. Each Soul Emblem comes with its own community stats, with some more experienced in certain fields than others. Although ultimately, all Soul Emblems can be placed within any community with the exception of Community Leaders.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Gift Giving Guide

Once you have unlocked the ability to give gifts to community members, you are free to begin upgrading and customizing each member of your community. The vast majority, if not all, of the gifts you will find as you explore are not restricted, you are able to give them to any member of your communities, so what’s the best way of giving gifts to your allies?

Firstly, it’s a good idea to focus on Community Leaders. These are the central character of each community. For example, Goku is the Community Leader for the Z Warriors, Chi-Chi for Cooking, and so on. Community Leaders are unique in the fact that they cannot be moved to other communities, they will always be a member of that one specific community. As such, you cannot go wrong focusing on their primary stats. For example, giving Goku items that increase his Z Warriors level and friendship. He will always be a Z Warriors, so increasing his Z Warriors rank to max will offer the best bonus for that community.

Next, you want to focus on Bonuses and primary stats. As an example, both Kami and King Yemma have a Bonus of “Maybe I’ll send you to hell”, both of them also start with their highest stat being the God community. Therefore, it’s a no-brainer that they will work best in the God community, so you can spend items increasing that for those characters. That same system can be applied across all characters and communities.

Ultimately, there’s not a seriously wrong or right way to do it as long as you don’t focus on more than 1-2 stats per character. The Z Warriors community is rather poor in terms of skills it provides, whereas cooking can massively extend your food buffs. Focus on the Community Skills that suit your play style and offer the best bonuses.
