How To Unlock Super Saiyan In Dragon Ball Xenoverse
Becoming a Super Saiyin in Dragon Ball Xenoverse is something every Saiyin will want to do. It is a skill you do not automatically learn while playing the game so some people might miss it. Find out How to become a Super Saiyan with this guide!

How To Become A Super Saiyan In Dragon Ball Xenoverse

Alright first off if you are no a Saiyan then this is not for you. Saiyans are the only race that can become a Super Saiyan, duh. If you are any other race you should focus on Kaioken. You can buy Kaioken from the store for 5000 after the Saiyan Saga I am pretty sure. Kaioken takes stamina instead of Ki.

Now there are two ways to unlock the Super Saiyan ability. The first way is the free way and the harder way. After you beat the Frieza Saga you will unlock the Parallel Quest called Legendary Super Saiyan. The idea is to kill everyone BUT Goku within and Goku MIGHT go Super Saiyan. There are two problems with this method. First problem is Goku doesn’t go Super Saiyan with ANY consistency. I’ve done the mission 5 times and he only turned once. This is where the second problem comes in. You need to keep first form Frieza alive throughout the battle. Keeping him alive against Super Saiyan Goku is RIDICULOUSLY hard. Frieza is like a Super Kamehameha magnet. The only thing you can do is try to keep Goku on the ground or in a combo or finish him before he takes out Frieza. This is not the method I used. Also as it turns out if you DO win sometimes it doesn’t even drop! Skip this method unless you are really looking to get Super Saiyan early.

The longer but easier route comes at the price of 50000 in the Skill shop. You will need to get past the Android Saga for the Super Saiyan ability to pop in in the store. In this game the Android Saga comes after the Cell Saga because it is for Future Trunks. Once you get Super Saiyan you will need to put it in one of your Ultimate Attack slots to use it. Going Super Saiyan drains Ki per second so be sure to bring some sort of energy recharge move so you don’t drop out!

You can also unlock Super Saiyan 2 but I haven’t got that far yet. When I get it I will update this so people can find it.
