How To Power Level In Dragon Ball Xenoverse With A Friend
Power leveling in Dragon Ball Xenoverse is actually very simple if you have the right method. You will either need a high level friend or you need to have beaten the game yourself. This Guide will teach you how to power level you charters in Dragon Ball Xenoverse!

How To Power Level In Dragon Ball Xenoverse

As stated above this is best done with a high level friend unless you have beaten the game. Once your friend has beaten the game they can then access the level 7 Parallel Quests that will net the most EXP in the game. Great thing about these quests if you can be invited from the lobby even if you don’t have them unlocked yet! I recommend doing Saiyan revolt, Saiyan Warriors or The Great Ape festival. The Great ape mission is very fast and will net you a ton of EXP but most people don’t have it unlocked yet. When you play at this level be sure to bring character you can take a hit with and some healing items!

Now if you want to do this method solo you will need to do it after you beat the game. By the time you beat the game with your first character you will be able to handle the 7 star missions with that character easily. Start a new character and go to the Parallel Quest area and select 7 star quest difficult. Even at level one, if you have beat the game, you can select 7 star quest difficulty. Most people don’t use the level settings when creating missions so you can join no problem. If you have a level 7 mission like The Great Ape carnival you can actually host it and people can join. I used Broly at level 1 to survive and went from 1-15 in a single mission. Any of the higher end characters will be find for level 1 just be sure to bring healing items. This method is great for leveling each race up so you can try the different skills and combos!

What To Do With Time Chasm Crystal Shards in Dragon Ball Xenoverse

What To Do With Time Chasm Crystal Shards in Dragon Ball Xenoverse

In order to unlock the extra Sagas you will need to get 5 Time Shards from a few places. The first two I got was because I beat the main story all the way. After you defeat the last boss the item you get from him is a Time Shard. After you finish the end cut scene and all the credits head back to Toki Toki and you will see a random guy with a green ? over his head. Talk to him and you will get another Time Shard. The next three will need to be grinded out.

Head over to the Parallel Quests areas and you can start trying to get the next Time Shards. Just because it is shown as a reward does not mean you will always get it, you need to do these multiple times in order to get the Shards normally. Time Shard 3 can be found on Parallel Quest 40 “Saiyan Revolt”. Time Shard 4 can be found on Parallel Quest 42 “Power of a Super Saiyan God, 18 “Return of Ginyu Force” and 14 “Legendary Super Saiyan”. Time Shard 5 can be found on Parallel Quest 2 “Prepare for the Attack of Saiyans”, 21 “The Cell Games Begin” and 32 “Super Saiyan Bergain Sale” which you unlock from Goten.

Getting these items from those battles is completely random just like every other reward. I had to spend about an hour on one of the missions to get my last shaard.

Don’t worry about focusing on the Shards until you beat the game because both these Sagas are pretty tough. After you get all the Shards return to the area where you do your story missions and you can start these Sagas up!

How To Go Super Saiyan 2 In Dragon Ball Xenoverse

There are two methods to getting Super Saiyan 2 just like getting Super Saiyan.

The first method is the easiest method but takes more time and costs 100000$ in the shop. After you beat Kid Buu you can go to the shop and pick this up. Kid Buu is a two stage fight and you will want to be around level 45-50 to make it easier for you. His Ultimate Attack is very strong and if you get caught in it a couple times it will be lights out! Be sure to bring a couple of healing capsules so you don’t lost the fight at the end. This is the long method but it is a guaranteed result. This is how I did it and the method that I recommend, the second method is hit and miss.

Now for the second method you can unlock it for free and before the Buu Saga. Do the Parallel Quest “The Cell Games Begin” and you have a CHANCE to unlock it. I say a chance because even if you do everything right it us only a random chance reward, not a guarantee. This mission without doing the Bonus Objectives is hard enough but getting the Bonus is a real pain. In order to get Gohan to go SSJ2 you need to beat Piccolo and Goku before him. Like most Parallel Quests this does not always make him go SSJ2 and even if he does the reward is still random!

Super Saiyan 2 will take alot more energy than Super Sayian but you attacks are alot stronger. If you bring a full energy recharge you can keep it going for the whole fight assuming you get a chance to recharge. You cannot go above Super Saiyan 2 as a created character at the moment.

Finding Dragon Balls In Dragon Ball Xenoverse

The only method I’ve found to getting the Dragon Balls is by fighting random Time Patrollers throughout Parallel Quests. They appear in a few areas but this is the easiest way to farm it quickly. You will need to have the 3 star rank unlocked in order to do this mission.

Go to the 3 star Parallel Quests menus and pick the Fierce Battle! Ginyu Force! Now you need to know in order to keep the Dragon Ball you do need to beat the mission so don’t leave if you get one! Pick your team and start the mission. Right at the start of the mission use your scouter to look for a randomly named Time Patrol guy in the first area, if you do not see one click retry and look again. Once you see the figure go talk to it and fight it. Once you win it will say you got a Material Item or a Key Item. The Key Item is the Dragon Ball, you normally get two items form these fights. If you don’t get a Key Item retry again and fight the Patrol guy again. Make sure you don’t beat the mission within 5 minutes or else you may have to fight Frieza which will keep you in longer. I can normally farm 4-5 Dragon Balls from here alone before they stop giving them.

Now after you stop getting them you need to do one of two things. First thing is doing a few missions to reset the area. I’m not sure if this is needed or not but I went off and did 3 missions because I fought a guy about 15 times and he didn’t drop any more Dragon Balls. Another thing I had to do was switch to my character. I was using SSj4 Gogeta(Yeah I know I’m being a baby) and I think the game realized I was wasting them WAY to quick. Once I switched to my guy I fought the Time Patrol dude and the Dragon Ball dropped on the first try!

You can also find Time Patrol dudes in other areas like Kami’s Lookout and the Pod landing place the Raditz comes from, but these aren’t as consistent as Capsule Corp. There are also missions that you will have to fight Time Patrol guys on. The Explosion Of Namek and Burst Open and Mix! are two examples that have Time Patrol people to fight, you need to do the bonus objectives to get them.

Once you have the Dragon Balls go to the Plaza Of Time and put them shrine in the center of the area.

How To Become A Super Saiyan In Dragon Ball Xenoverse

Alright first off if you are no a Saiyan then this is not for you. Saiyans are the only race that can become a Super Saiyan, duh. If you are any other race you should focus on Kaioken. You can buy Kaioken from the store for 5000 after the Saiyan Saga I am pretty sure. Kaioken takes stamina instead of Ki.

Now there are two ways to unlock the Super Saiyan ability. The first way is the free way and the harder way. After you beat the Frieza Saga you will unlock the Parallel Quest called Legendary Super Saiyan. The idea is to kill everyone BUT Goku within and Goku MIGHT go Super Saiyan. There are two problems with this method. First problem is Goku doesn’t go Super Saiyan with ANY consistency. I’ve done the mission 5 times and he only turned once. This is where the second problem comes in. You need to keep first form Frieza alive throughout the battle. Keeping him alive against Super Saiyan Goku is RIDICULOUSLY hard. Frieza is like a Super Kamehameha magnet. The only thing you can do is try to keep Goku on the ground or in a combo or finish him before he takes out Frieza. This is not the method I used. Also as it turns out if you DO win sometimes it doesn’t even drop! Skip this method unless you are really looking to get Super Saiyan early.

The longer but easier route comes at the price of 50000 in the Skill shop. You will need to get past the Android Saga for the Super Saiyan ability to pop in in the store. In this game the Android Saga comes after the Cell Saga because it is for Future Trunks. Once you get Super Saiyan you will need to put it in one of your Ultimate Attack slots to use it. Going Super Saiyan drains Ki per second so be sure to bring some sort of energy recharge move so you don’t drop out!

You can also unlock Super Saiyan 2 but I haven’t got that far yet. When I get it I will update this so people can find it.
