In Doom you can use Weapon Upgrade points to improve your weapons performance. Some of the Weapon Upgrade Points are easy to get while others will take some searching. Check out this Doom Weapon Upgrade Point Location Guide to help you find them all as you go!
Doom Weapon Upgrade Point 1 – You can find this weapon upgrade point right after you use the blue keycard for the first time. When you open the door and go through, stay to the left until you get to a metal building. Enter the building and drop down all the way to the bottom and turn around. You are looking for a door way that you can enter with a switch inside.
It is not the white open door one the left, it is the doorway on the metal part in front of the Doom guy. The white door is what you open when you hit the switch inside. After you hit the switch, go into the room and clear out the enemies for an upgrade point. You can also hit the 2 red switch on the shelf to get a secret inside the secret.
Doom Weapon Upgrade Point 2 – You need to collect the secrets in a level to get a Weapon Upgrade Point as well. We have a secret location guide here.
Now you start to get challenges that unlock points as well.
The first challenge is the only tricky one. All you have to do is make two of them flash and then get both of them in your shotgun cross hair to finish them. I hit them both in the chest and they exploded. You might be able to use grenade if you go the explosive mod, but I wasn’t able to test it.
The trick one here is getting the aerial glory kills (death form above). You have to be on a ledge or crate above the enemy when the glow and then do the glory kill. I would wait until it was one on one and then lure them to the crates and do the kill. It does take some time because the AI does NOT like to run directly at you.

You need to get two Death From Above kills on Hell Knights this time. They are the really large brutish demons. Stun them, look for a way to get above them, jump at them and smash there heads in! You will fight enough in the level to get 2 easily. The map can be found in our secrets guide.

The difficult one here is the Kill 15 demons with Quad Damage. I was able to find two of those buffs in this level and both where during waves of enemies. Check for them while you are fighting at the base of the tower and while you are climbing it.
