Doom Guide: Praetor Suit Upgrade Location Guide (Elite Guard Locations)

Praetor Suit Upgrade 1 – Your first upgrade for the level will come after you get the yellow key card. Go to the locked yellow door but do not go in it yet. Instead look behind you for some boxes you can climb up. Climb up and over and cross to the other side. Open the yellow door on the other side and then use the computer. This will open up a few of the other locked doors in the area.

Go into the hallway outside the room and then look right for a hatch that you can open now. Go down the hatch and you will find the upgrade.

Praetor Suit Upgrade 2 – Now that you have used the computer to open all the red locked doors, you will need to go back up the elevator to where you got the yellow key card. There will be a new open door there and inside is a vent you can go into. On the other side of the vent you will find the guard and a new secret.

Praetor Suit Upgrade 3 – The last upgrade in this level is after you are told to go to the Vegas system. On your way to the Vega computer you will have to use another computer to gain access to the doors in the area. After you do that, go through the door near the computer and follow the path left for the upgrade.

Praetor Suit Upgrade 1 – When you first enter The Foundry you’ll discover a large room area with lava pouring down the walls. Jump to the right and enter the room there. Follow that around to the outside and then drop down here to find the upgrade. If you got the hand from the dead guy, it’s right below that.

Praetor Suit Upgrade 2 – You can find this one right before you destroy the first Gore Nest in the level, you need the yellow key card to access it. Go through the area until you hit the end of the conveyor belt with the boxes on it. You have to go through the door but before you do that look right. There are some boxes you can climb up and you can use that to access a vent shaft with the upgrade in it.

Praetor Suit Upgrade 3 – Near the end of the level, after a large battle in a room you’ll get a comm message saying Olivia has activated a terminal nearby. Through the next room you’ll find another body with a Praetor token.

Praetor Suit Upgrade 1 – Keep progressing through the level until you reach a large area where you encounter the upgrade bot, although it flies away. Look to the right and you’ll see a shining weapons box. Even further down to the right is a small area a long way down. Jump down and follow it round to find another corpse with an upgrade token.

Praetor Suit Upgrade 2 – This one is in the same area as the last one but on the other side. Go to the blue force field and look up for a hanging crate. Use the creates near there to jump up onto that one and then up to the next section of building. Look right and you will see a cat walk that you can get up on. Go up on the cat walk and at the end you will find the upgrade.

Praetor Suit Upgrade 3 – The next upgrade can be found really close to the second one. Look over the edge near the last upgrade and drop down. Look left and then jump up on that rock and look down from the edge of that. You will see a path down below, follow that to the upgrade.

Praetor Suit Upgrade 4 – The last upgrade will come towards the end of the level. When you destroy the last demon spawning thing and clear the wave, you will open a door that leads to the Argent Processor. Look left in that room and you will see the dead guard.

Praetor Suit Upgrade 1 – When you reach the end of the bridge in the Argent Energy Tower mission and jump across the gap, drop down to the right and you’ll find a secret area.

Praetor Suit Upgrade 2 – Continue through the level until you reach the area with the large metallic containers rotating around a circular structure. You have to drop down to continue. As you progress take the first opportunity to jump to a left ledge. You can find another Praetor Token there.

Praetor Suit Upgrade 3 – Towards the end of the mission you have to climb the huge tower. Just before you enter the room where you hear Olivia and your objective updates. When you get near to the top there is a section where you can jump past some moving metal containers back into the main room for Rune Trial, but don’t jump all the way out. When you jump onto the ledge turn back and wait for a container to come back around. Jump onto the container and then onto the ledge opposite. There’s an ammo box here. From the ammo box jump up to the left to a higher ledge and then turn back on yourself to jump up and find another Praetor Token.

Praetor Suit Upgrade 1 – Continue through the mission until you get the Yellow Skull key and unlock the Yellow Skull door. Inside is a dead Elite Guard with another Praetor Token to collect.

Praetor Suit Upgrade 2 – After you unlock the Blue Skull Door and go through the teleporation device you will come to a huge area with floating rocks and lots of enemies. Directly across from where you enter the area you’ll see an armor pickup on one of the floating islands. Past that further is a platform with some stairs. Climb those up to the top level and search nearby for the dead Elite Guard.

Praetor Suit Upgrade 3 – Another tough one to miss. Continue through the mission until you reach the yellow teleportation device. You should spot the Elite Guard just before.

Praetor Suit Upgrade 4 – This one is also near impossible to miss. Continue through the level, just past the point where you interact with the Slayer’s Testament III. Follow the path round to the next area, jump across and you’ll see the Elite Guard there.

Praetor Suit Upgrade 2 – In the main area there is a Rune Trial. If you look over the edge of the Rune Trial location there’s a small ledge with fire on it. Jump down there and then turn to look at the area below the Rune Trial. There’s a very small ledge with a Praetor Token inside. I was only able to jump onto the ledge from above using the In-Flight Mobility Rune.

Praetor Suit Upgrade 3 – Carry on with the mission until you reach an area filled with enemies and 2 blue jump pads on either side. Jump up and you’ll find the corpse of a Elite Guard nearby.

Praetor Suit Upgrade 4 – Right at the end of the mission you jump down an elevator shaft. Before turning to go to your objective look above you and jump into the small gap. Explore inside for another Praetor Token.

Praetor Suit Upgrade 2 – After you meet with Samuel Hayden inside his office he tells you to use the service elevator. Head down to the bottom and take your first left. The Elite Guard corpse can be found near some crates.

Praetor Suit Upgrade 3 – As you go through the level you will eventually come to a point where a giant fan pushes you up to the ceiling. Go through the vent at the top and follow it to the end. At the end, go through the left door and inside you will find your upgrade.

Praetor Suit Upgrade 2 – The second upgrade can be found after the room with the giant demon being operated on. If you go to the area outside where it is being operated on you can see a slant that leads up to a closed door. There is a switch you can hit near the door to open it and inside is the upgrade.

Praetor Suit Upgrade 3 – As you move through the mission you will eventually reveal a hidden staircase that you have to go down. Follow the path until you get to a room with a hole in the middle. Jump in and you will get the secret and an armor upgrade.

Praetor Suit Upgrade 4 – The last Praetor Upgrade in the level is right after you close the portal. Go through the next door and take a right into the large room with the vending machines. If you look to the right of the vending machines you will see an opening on the wall. Go in there and you will get your last upgrade.

Praetor Suit Upgrade 2 – Continue through the level until you reach the area with the Yellow Door. When you drop down the door is sealed and you have to go down to the left into another area filled with green goo. There’s a switch at the far end of the room you need to press, the Elite Guard is next to the switch.

Praetor Suit Upgrade 1 – Keep progressing through the level. When you activate both the switches behind the blue and yellow door you’ll have to drop far down below. Keep going and enter the door with the large skull above it, the marine corpse can be found inside.

Praetor Suit Upgrade 2 – Carry on through the level and eventually you’ll reach a large corridor type space, filled with ammo and pickups. There’s a ton of demons that spawn in here but after you clear them out check the end of the corridor for the Praetor Token. It’s in an area you have to progress through so you can’t really miss it.

Praetor Suit Upgrade 2 – Another easy one to find. Continue through the mission until you enter a door with “Clean Area” written above. It’s after the large room with the two switches. Go through the door and then through the next door you see, you should be inside a room full of terminals and a couple of holograms. Search the left side of the room for a hatch in the floor that you can interact with. Go down the hatch, past the guy with the blue key and then into the door on the left. The token is in the next room.

Praetor Suit Upgrade 3 – Continue through the mission until you have to jump on the tram to get to the next area. When you get there clear out all the enemies. To move forward you need to stand on a lift that will take you up to your objective but before getting on the lift, check around to the side and drop down underneath it. There’s a secret here and a Praetor Token.
