Depending on how you look at it, Toys are either entirely useless or utterly fantastic. When you find a toy in any level of Doom Eternal, it is automatically placed back on the Fortress of Doom. Even if you die or restart the level, as long as your progress has saved, you will find the toy on the Fortress of Doom.
