It all comes down to this. The fate of the humans is now in your hands. Vergil wishes to rule them and Dante wishes them to be free. This boss guide will help you defeat Vergil and claim freedom for the humans. Let’s end this.

Vergil Boss Guide

Vergil v Dante

First off for the fight is Vergil’s moves. This guy has a ton of things he can do so read up.

First thin you should notice are some blue swords above his head. These will shoot at you once they shine brightly. Knock them back in order to bring Vergil to his knees.

He will also teleport around and end up in the air a lot of times. While he is in the air he can shoot what looks like a blade at you. This is best dodged.

He can also do a kick down to you while in the air. He will have a knee bent when he is going to do this. It is very quick so demon dodge if you can.

He also has a couple of sword attacks. When he grabs his sword and it starts to shine that means he is charging an area of effect attack. This is pretty easy to dodge and honestly while it is charging you might even be able to hurt him.

The other one is when he grabs his sword and it doesn’t shine. This means he is going to charge at you and try to slice you. I would normally angel dodge this because in the path he takes other blades can damage you.

At about a quarter of his hp he will make a clone. The clone can copy his moves or do his own moves. Now you have to worry about two enemies instead of one. You will be doing A LOT of dodging at this point.

DmC: Devil May Cry Vergil Boss Guide
Right at the start of the fight Vergil will be walking around. He is a lot like those demons with two swords and will parry most of your attacks at first. While he is walking you can kind of see a blue sword over his head. Once it shoots if you can knock it back at him. If he jumps he will throw what looks like a shooting star at you. This can be knocked back at him or dodged.

The key to beating Vergil is knocking back the blue swords at him. Once it says epic parry he will be on the ground and then you can attack. While he is down run up and use attack him.

After you do this a couple of times he will start to teleport around a bit more. This is also the point where he starts using more moves. He will put his hand on his sword and rush you with it. This is best just dodged or demon dodged. He will also launch attacks from his sword. I tried to parry these but I couldn’t pull it off so just dodge. One last move is a drop kick he does from air. It is very quick so you need to be ready top dodge whenever he is in the kick position and in the air.

The good news is now he is easier to attack. When he misses an attack you can hit him. Still expect the blue swords to come out and take advantage of that when possible.

At a quarter of his hp Vergil will clone himself. This means every attack now has two which means if you get hit you will take double damage. The clone can also use a different move then Vergil. Example if Vergil shoots a thing in the air the clone can do a kick down. Attacking the clone does get you some devil meter fill up souls.

Once he gets to a single bar he will drop to his knees. You cannot kill him unless you are in devil trigger mode. The clone will block all of your attacks. Activate the devil trigger and finish him off.

The rivalry has now been set for the next game. Well done.

After all the crap Mundus put you through it is now time to take the fight to him. Ending him will begin a new era for the humans and free them. This boss guide will help you beat him down with no trouble at all! Let’s get started.

Mundus Boss GuideMundus

First off we will go over Mundus’ moves. He doesn’t have very many but he hurts a lot if you get hit.

First off he has a basic slam with both his hands. He will lift his hands over his head and drop them down creating a shock wave. Simply jump to avoid this.

Next he will use a single hand to drop down and send off a shock wave. The best way to avoid this is to wait for his hand to hit than angel lift to that hand.

He can also launch fire balls at you. When he has both hands they are pretty quick but when it is just his head they are easy to dodge. I would normally demon dodge the fast ones.

There was one point when he had both hands that he just went wild and slammed all over the place. Angel dodge if your friend when he does that.

Lastly he will spit all over the roof you are on. Like the succubus boss you need to jump to the other roof in order to avoid this.

DmC: Devil May Cry Mundus Boss Guide

The first part of the fight is pretty much on rails. You just follow the demon grab and angel lift points as they come along. Once Vergil is separated from you that’s when the real fight begins.

He will slam both his fists down creating a shock wave. Right before they hit jump over them then angel lift to one of the hands. Now you can hurt him so do so. Each of his hands has a hp bar so attack which ever one you can.

After some damage he will spit some red stuff onto the floor. This will constantly damage you so you need to angel lift off that roof to another one. He will start to only slam one hand and from that hand a shock wave will launch in the opposite direction. This can be jumped easily but the better option is to angel lift to his hand and hurt it while the wave is going. He may also start to shoot some fireballs at you. Simply dodge them.

You should be able to break one of his hands while on the second roof. I used my sword and did the trillion stabs move. This did some serious damage. Once you break the first hand demon grab the eye to get a glimpse of Vergil and Mundus.

After he loses an arm he will spit onto the roof again. Angel lift to the other roof to avoid the damage. He will start to launch more fireballs that can used to your advantage. Do the demon dodge to increase your damage and once Mundus puts his other hand down you can really wreck it. After you break his other hand you need to demon pull his other eye.

When it is only his head he can only launch fire balls. They will be slower than normal so avoiding them is easy. Once his head comes down angel lift to it and slice it up.

Kind of lackluster for a demon god but whatever.

DmC Guide

Now it is really time to hurt Mundus. In order to do so you need to capture his mistress and child. This boss guide will help you bring the Mundus’ Spawn down with no trouble at all! Let’s get started.

Lilith and Mundus’ Spawn

Lilith

While the Mundus’ Spawn doesn’t have nearly as many moves as Bob he can still bring you down if you don’t know what he’s throwing at you.

First off a ground slam. He will lift his hand a drop it down creating a shock wave. This is pretty simple to jump over. As you damage Lilith the frequency in which he uses it increases. Keep jumping it.

He can also swing his fist to damage you. He will normally do this when you are angel lifting and damaging him. The best way to avoid this is to do the angel dodge in air. From there you can hook back onto him and rip him apart.

He did shoot a clear orb at me once. By the time I realized what he was doing though it had hit me. Honestly you might be able to hit that back at him with your sword.

Eventually he will spawn a red arm on his back. I think this is just to protect his weak spot but I am not entirely sure. Be sure to rip it off before he can do anything with it.

Lastly he can teleport. It kind of looks like he disintegrates when he is going to do it. He will either come closer to you or back off if you are doing some serious damage.

The more damage you do the Lilith the more he attacks. Use an item if you get low.

Dmc: Devil May Cry Mundus’ Spawn Boss Guide

The angel dodge is a very good move in this fight. Use it often.

Right when the fight starts he will slam his fist and create an orange shock wave that shoots at you. Just be ready to jump right at the beginning. After he did that I charged my Aquila to full and launched it at his face.

After that he started charging me and just swinging randomly. Jump or dodge those and keep hitting him. His legs don’t take that much damage but until Lilith makes an appearance this is a good option for your axe.

Once he did his next shock wave I was able to angel lift onto his back. This is where you can do some serious damage. You will be in the air so use whatever you work best with while airborne. I like the Aquila but if you use something else in the air just stick to that. His back should stay a viable option to latch onto until you really hurt Lilith.

Eventually Dante will look at his blue eye and you will need to angel lift to it. While I do like the axe it was hard to stay in the air and use it effectively so I used the Aquila on the eye. Once the eye closes head to his back and angel lift that point if you can. He will try to protect it a bit more now by doing circles and warping out-of-the-way.

One he falls Lilith will appear and now is a really good time to use a demon weapon. First off you need to pull her out with a demon grab though so do that. Once she is on the ground now you can really tear her up. If you have devil trigger now would be a good time to use it. You only have a set amount of time before the Mundus’ Spawn takes her back in.

At this point a red arm appeared on the back of the Mundus’ Spawn. The red arm is simple you just need to pull it off with a demon grab. After that you can angel lift to his back and hurt him again.

Once you get Lilith’s hp below half he will start attacking much more frequently. I had an instance where he slammed four times in a row then swung his arm at me when I finally ended up close to him.

Hurt the eye when it opens and once he falls down again you should be able to finish him. Remember you do not need a full gauge of the devil meter to use it. If you have over half you will be able to use it until Lilith either dies or goes back into the spawn. If she is below half hp and you can use the devil trigger you will be able to finish her.

Your move Mundus.

In order to bring down the news network in DmC: Devil May Cry you need to defeat Bob Barbas. It is definitely a unique fight and can be challenging if you don’t know what is coming. This guide will help you bring him down with no trouble at all. Let’s go.

Bob BarkasBarkas

To start off with you should really know Bob’s moves. Yes Bob is just a face but he can do some serious damage if you stay in any of his moves for to long. All of his moves have a charge period. You will see a color and once it charges a move will shoot out. If you see blue that means he is just going to shoot a large beam at you. It stays on for a bit and chases you around. The best way to avoid this is to roll then run. If you see purple that means he is going to use a spinning laser. Basically 4 beams come out and go in s circle on the ground. You can jump over the skinny ones but you need to angel dash or double jump over the thicker ones. If you see a green move charging up he is going to use his green laser. This laser basically closes in on Dante then goes back out then comes back in. It attempts to crush Dante so jump when it is about to crush you. I did see a red move charging once and from the looks of it as long as you are out of the circle it creates you will be fine. Lastly he has a wall move. I forget what color the charge is but it ends up being green when he launches it. Look for the opening in the wall and either run through it or jump if it is higher. If you know the color leave a comment and let me know. DmC: Devil May Cry Bob Barkas Boss Guide: Now for the actual fight. Be sure to use fully charged drops on the power sources so they stay disabled for longer periods of time. Right at the start of the fight he will launch a wall at you. In this wall you will see a couple of openings you can go through. Pick one and either jump through or walk through. From there he will start using the green laser over and over. Jump right before it hits you to avoid it. He was able to get two of these off on me before I could get to one of the red power points. If you haven’t guess it by now you need to equip the demon fist then drop onto the point. This will weaken him and you can now damage him. Run up to his face and use whatever you want. I use thew axe because it does a ton of damage. If you see a ring of red kind of surround you be sure to jump out of it do you don’t take any damage. Keep laying into Bob until you take down his fist bar. Now you need to angel lift into his eye. Now you will be on camera fighting some demons. Bob will be talking all sorts of trash and you need to kill demons. This is a good chance to fill up your devil meter as well. Once Dante talks you will be back in the main boss fight. Now for the next part you will have to disable two of the power cores. It is easy to get one right away while he is talking. After you do this though he will start sending attacks more frequently. He sent wall after wall at me until I broke the second power core. Once he is vulnerable again use devil trigger and bring that hp bar down real quick. Angel lift through his other eye and yep you guessed it more demon killing. Charge up your meter and once the people are done talking you will be facing Bob again. Now of course you will need to break all three power cores. At this point he started charging up a purple move that was a ground laser. It just goes in a circle on the ground and you can jump over the skinny parts but you need to angel dash past the thicker ones. He also started using a blue beam on me. This is basically a straight shot right at you that needs to be dodged. You cannot jump this move so don’t try. If you are not quick enough the power will return to the cores. Use the fully charged ground slam to ensure you get the most time to disable all of them. Once all three are down activate devil trigger and finish him off. And just like that the raptor network is down.

One of the more interesting collectibles in DmC: Devil May Cry are the keys. These keys unlock the doors to secret rooms. Inside the rooms you will be presented with various challenges you can complete for extra HP. This guide will help you do them as you play! Check it out!

Copper Key Secret RoomsAngels

This is a work in progress. I am doing it as I go so if you know one leave a comment and I will add it and give you credit.

Secret Copper Door Location 1:
In mission 1 right after the first lost soul you can either go straight or jump to the left. Take the left path to get a copper key.

Once you get into the house with the paintings follow the hallway all the way down. You will see a door with a lock on it. It is in the room with the giant mirror. Unlock it with your key and beat the challenge. You have to kill enemies in the air so just hold the knock up button and spam the sword attack on all 5. Once they die you get the item.

Secret Copper Door Location 2:
This is in mission 2. Once you go up the steps of Dante’s house take a right. Look down the hall and you should see the key. Go grab it.

After you return to the house from the dream world you will drop down a hole. Down this hole is the door. All you have to do is kill the enemies within a minute. Easy as pie.

Secret Copper Door 3:
Once you clear the first wave of enemies Kat will call you over. Before going to her break the red door on the left near the divinity statue. Grab the key inside. The next available copper door isn’t until mission four though.

Once in mission four you will come to an area with two eye cameras watching you. Clear out the enemies and then go to the angel grab point. Jump to the point and across the gap to see a blue door. Use the angel weapon to break it open and find the copper door inside. The challenge is very easy just make it to the end in the time limit. Use the angel grapple points to get their quicker.

Secret Copper Door 4:
In mission 5 you can see a key through a fence. It is in the area where you use the demon pull to break through a container then have to dash through it. Head to the right of the fence until you see a spot you can jump up. Follow the path and get the key.

While still in the same mission wait until you reach the first divinity stone. From their jump on the crates to the right of it. Do a jump dash to the crates across from where you are. Form there you should see the door and you can spend your key here.

This one is pretty simple but all you can use it demon weapons. Use the axe and demon pull to win no problem.

Secret Copper Door 5:
In the start of mission 6 turn around and drop down to get a copper key.

Once you escape the tunnel and the timer goes away you can find the next secret room. Keep going towards the succubus but before you enter the room take a left. You can see the door. Angel dash over the gap and enter.

Here all you have to do it get all the checkpoints. It might take you a couple tries but after you figure out where they all are it is pretty simple. The only thing that actually makes it difficult is if you fall. Once you fall you start at the beginning and have to work your way back to the other ones. If you fall three times you might as well restart the room.

Secret Copper Door 6:
In Mission 7 you will start to break the floor with your demon fist. Once you break the elevator down and the break the floor right after that you will face two rage demons. Kill them and in the top right you can see the angel lift point. Go up to that point and turn around to see a copper key. Go grab the key.

On the floor below you can see the copper door. Open the door and go in. Another simple one all you can do it use the angel weapons. Do so and kill the ten enemies to beat this room.

Secret Copper Door 7:
The key is in mission 15. Once you clear the first obstacle for the car you will need to clear another one. Angel lift to the car but instead of slamming the container angel dash to the left of it. In the back right corner is the key. The door is in a different mission.

We will use the key in mission 16. It is very far into the level as well. Once you make it to the elevator that says 154 keep going to the right. Around the corner you will see the copper door.

You will need to use the demon evade buff to win this one. Pretty simple wait until they attack then use it. as long as Dante’s hands are glowing reed the buff is on.

Secret Copper Door 8:
There is a second key in Mission 15. Once you get to the point where you need to demon pull the boss do so. From there jump on the bus and head left. You can see the key up on a platform. Jump the crates and grab the key.

Argent Key Doors

Argent Secret Door 1:
No key yet.

In mission 5 towards the end you will be going through some tunnels that have live looking tubes pulsing throughout. you will enter a room where you must fight some demons. After you clear the demons a message on the wall will say Eff you Dante. Clear out the other enemies on go through the doorway.

At the end of the hall you will see a blue door. Head towards that door and once you can take a right do so. You will see two sledge pits which should be jumped. Keep following the path until you see a red door on the left. Inside of there is the secret room.

Argent Secret Door 2:
In mission 6 you will run into a demon monkey looking thing. Dante tell it to run off and you can keep moving forward. If you look to the left there is a large gap then an angel lift point. Jump and dash to reach the lift point and grab the key.

Argent Secret Door 3:
In mission 7 you will run into some train tracks. After get off the train tracks the first time you will have to clear out some demons from a room. Do that and jump back onto the tracks from the other side. Follow them down until you see an opening on the right. Take that opening and open the blue door. Down the hall is another key.

Now once you get to the first divinity stone you can use this key. Head down the corridor and once you can make a left do so. Jump up and break the red door. From there you can open the secret door. You will need to make it to the end of the area within the time limit. It is pretty simple just a lot of switching from angel grab to demon grab.

Argent Secret Door 4:
The last Argent key is found in mission 18. Go to the top right tunnel and when you get to the gap look down. you can see a tunnel below. Drop down to it and follow the path to get the key.

Take the left top tunnel. Once the tunnel opens up a bit more you can see the door on the left side. Jump to it and open it up.

This one is really simple. All you have to do is kill one big monster in the amount of time granted. Wait for him to charge and miss then demon grab him to the floor. Do as much damage as you can. Once he gets back up just wait for another charge and damage his back. Shouldn’t take more then 30 seconds.

Gold Key DoorsGold Door

Gold Secret Door 1:
In mission 7 is where the door is. I already had the key so I will retrace my steps later and figure out where I got it.

Once you make it into the jail there will be a point where you need to demon pull a cargo container. DO that then break open the one above it. Look behind you to see the golden door through a fence. Angel dash to the platform next to it and enter the door.

This challenge is a bit harder than normal but still achievable. You cannot use the same attack twice. I personally used my heavy weapon to knock two of them off the cliff for instant kills then used what I had left to finish the other two.

Gold Secret Door 2:
The next key is in Mission 16. Once you make it to floor 105 clear out the enemies. Now head back towards the elevator. If you are acting like you came out of the elevator(do not take the elevator) you will want to take a left. Go around the corner and you will see the key and two souls. Wait for the blocks to stop and jump across.

While in the same mission wait until you reach floor 106. Right when you get to the elevators you need to clear out a few enemies. Do so and like when you got the key head around the corner. You will see a gap with a platform across it. Jump the gap and go through the doorway. At the bottom of the steps is the gold door.

It is another race to the finish type. This one has a few doors that will need to be broken as well. It might take you a couple tries but once you figure out which door needs what weapons it becomes very simple.

Gold Secret Door 2:
NO KEY YET!

The door is mission 17. Once you make it to the divinity stone follow the angel lift points that come after it. Once you get to the platform at the other side you will see a demon grab in the distance. Grab the point and another platform will appear for you to jump on. Jump to it and from there you can see the door so head to it.

Ivory Key Doors

Ivory Secret Door
There is only one Ivory Key in the game and it is in mission 17. Once you make it to the large platform with a large saw demon and a witch clear them out. From there jump to the other smaller platforms clearing demon debris as you go. Once you make it to the long skinny platform the game wants you to go left. If you look right you can see two angel lift points. Angel lift to the first point then dash and lift to the second. Go through the blue door and grab the key.

The door is also in this level. One you make it to the divinity stone follow the angel lift points that come after it. Once you get to the platform at the other side you will see a demon grab in the distance. Grab the point and another platform will appear for you to jump on. Jump to it and from there you can see the door so head to it.

This is a work in progress and I am doing them as I go. If you know a door or key I missed leave a comment and I will give you credit. Check back soon for updates!

The Succubus is the boss fight from the DmC demo. She isn’t overly difficult but if you don’t know what to do you will die over and over. This guide will help you bring her down with no issues! Let’s get started.

Succubus Boss GuideDmC Boss

First off for the fight is the Succubus moves. She will use her arms to attack in various ways. She will either swipe at your which can be avoided by jumping or rolling, or she will slam the ground and create a shock wave that must be jumped over. If her hands are above her head it is a slam if they are to the side it is a swipe.

She can also puke acid onto the platform you are on which will kill you if you don’t angel lift to another platform.

Lastly after taking a full hp bar away she will break whatever platform you are on. Don’t linger for to longer when she comes up raging at you.

The red spot on her head is her weak spot. After each attack she does the weak point is revealed so hit her there.

Now for the actual walk through part of the guide.

Right when the fight starts go up and attack her. Hit her hands with any weapons(I prefer the hammer) until the red spot on her head is visible. You want to hit that the most since it is her weak point. Use something quick to hit it though because it doesn’t stay out long.

As you attack her hands she will likely swing at you. This is very simple to avoid just jump over her hand. If she looks like she is going to slam down on the ground get ready to jump back as well.

Once she starts spewing acid everywhere you will need to angel lift to another platform. Look left or right and take one to the next platform. From there do some more damage to her. If you are quick you can drop her first hp bar and reveal her tubes. Demon grab one of the tubes off and she will get really mad. Once you can control Dante again angel lift to another platform so she doesn’t vomit on you.

Now do the same thing you did for the first phase. Hit her arms until the red spot appears the damage that spot. Dodge any swings and leave the platform is she vomits on it. I was able to get a full bar down and make the tubes appear again. Dante then says donkey punch and you can pull the second tube down. If you are on the wrong platform jump to the right one and pull out the tube.

After this she gets really mad and says all sorts of vulgar things at you. Get off that platform before she destroys it. On her last bar of hp she gets a lot more aggressive. Still nothing to fancy she just drops both hands like a hammer and does a shock wave. You can roll out-of-the-way or angel dash to avoid it. Something I noticed at the end is whenever she uses a move her weak spot opens up. So when she misses use that time to do some super damage.

After bringing down her last hp bar you can finish the fight for the moment. Dante says you’re dumped and it is time to move on.

Once you get outside of the boss area she will appear again. This part is really simple. All you have to is angel grab any angel grab point and then demon pull and demon pull point. Once she is hanging on slice her hands and she will die for sure. Nobody likes a clingy woman.

Dmc Guide

One of the collectibles in DmC: Devil May Cry is Lost Souls. They are red bodies sticking out of walls and ceilings. Killing them will net you some red orbs and getting all of them will get you a better reward. Use this guide to get them as you go!

Mission 1

Dante

This is a work in progress. I’m discovering the Lost Souls as I go through each mission, however some may require unique abilities in order to obtain. If you know one I’ve missed, please leave a comment and I’ll add it to the guide as well as credit you for the discovery.

Mission 1: Lost Soul 1:
The first Lost Soul is introduced through the game itself. You’ll be told to kill one so you know what you’re looking for in the future.

Mission 1: Lost Soul 2:
Once you get to the house with the paintings head to the room with the mirror. Approach it and you’ll have to watch a brief cut-scene. After the cut scene keep following the path until you see a giant doll sitting down. You’ll notice a doorway to your left, enter the room and look above the door you just entered. Use your sword to collect this Lost Soul.

Mission 2

Mission 2: Lost Soul 1:
After you get Arbiter you will be attacked by enemies. Kill them then take the door. You will see the Soul on the wall. The wall will split back and you will need to double jump then dash to get the soul.

Mission 2: Lost Soul 2:
After you fall down the hole from the last lost soul you can see this one on the wall. Jump and slice it to get it.

Mission 2: Lost Soul 3:
After returning to the mansion from the dream world you will need to jump a hole to proceed. Jump the hole then go through the doorway on the right. Above the doorway is the soul.

Mission 2: Lost Soul 4:
After getting Osiris you will be able to break down the blue doors. Right outside where you get the weapon is one of those doors. Spam the spinning move until the door breaks open. It will take a bit longer then the axe does.

Mission 3

Mission 3: Lost Soul 1:
Once you go to Kat and the ground breaks apart look behind you. You should see the soul on the wall.

Mission 3: Lost Soul 2:
After getting the angel boost you can get one we missed earlier. From the fountain area head back up to the triple angel lift point. If you look to the right of the middle jump you can see the soul. Use the first lift then angel boost to land on the ledge. Climb up to get the soul.

Mission 4

DMC Combo

Mission 4: Lost Soul 1:
In the first area you will come to a fork in the road. To the right on the wall is the lost soul.

Mission 4: Lost Soul 2:
On your way up to get the first demon eye you will see a soul hanging out a window. Jump up and attack it.

Mission 4: Lost Soul 3:
When you are supposed to follow Kat turn around and take the stairs up. you get will get a vital star and on the wall above the steps is the soul.

Mission 4: Lost Soul 4:
Once you clear the fountain area of enemies jump on top of the fountain. Across you will see a soul. Jump and dash over then attack it.

Mission 4: Lost Soul 5:
Jump back to the top of the fountain and jump dash to the angel hook. You can see a soul to the right. Jump and slice it down.

Mission 4: Lost Soul 6:
In the area with two demon camera eyes you have to angel lift to a platform. On the first platform move the camera to the opposite side to see the soul. Jump and dash to the soul and attack it. Try to remember to use the sword and not the scythe. It might take a few tries but you can get it.

Mission 4: Lost Soul 7:
After you take out the first camera a new path will open. As you take that path you will see a red door. Break it open and inside is a soul.

Mission 4: Lost Soul 8:
After breaking the red door you will see a soul on a wall across the street. Jump over and dash then attack to claim this one.

Mission 5

Mission 5: Lost Soul 1:
Once you enter limbo take the path on the left. You will have to rip down some walls and do some angel lifts in order to proceed. Keep going until you reach a platform that is near the words consume, stupidity, and obesity. The demons first appeared here for me. From there look back the way you jumped in and you will see an angel lift behind you. Jump and dash then angel lift to the platform. Angel lift to the next platform and bam you get the soul.

Mission 5: Lost Soul 2:
After breaking through the container with your demon grab you will be tossed into a fight. After the fight look for the blue pillars on the platform. You can see the angel grab spots from here. Get to the second one and grab the soul.

Mission 5: Lost Soul 3:
After you kill the orange ball demon with you guns you will have to jump up some crate stairs. At the top it will zoom in to the next area of the level. use your demon pull to pull yourself across the gap. Go through the doorway and on the right is the lost soul.

Mission 5: Lost Soul 4:
From the last lost soul you can choose to go towards an angel pull or just some platforms to jump. Go the path of the angel grab. Dash towards the grab spot then use the angel grab to get lifted up.

From there head to the Demon pull in the distance. Pull it once you get close enough and climb up. Once at the top head all the way right to the back corner to see the soul.

Mission 5: Lost Soul 5:
From the last soul head back towards where you used the demon pull. You should see some broken stairs above some crates. Jump up the stairs and follow the path around to the left to see the next soul.

Mission 6

Mission 6: Lost Soul 1:
Once you make it to the first demon pull area pull the platform towards you. From there take the angel lift to the other side. On the wall to the left of where you land you can see the soul. Double jump and attack to free it.

Mission 6: Lost Soul 2:
After escaping the tunnel you will get your first look at the succubus. Do not go towards her but instead look behind you and to the left to see a soul on a pillar.

Mission 7

k

Mission 7: Lost Soul 1:
Once you are trying to break into the jail you will run into a red wall. Dante will say let’s give it a crack. To the left you can see the lost soul.

Mission 7: Lost Soul 2:
You will come to a point where you need to demon pull a cargo box towards you so you can jump on it. After that you break one open with the demon fist. If you turn around you can see a lost soul through a fence. Jump to the platform right of the fence and get the soul.

Mission 7: Lost Soul 3:
As you progress through the level you will come to a point where Dante stops and looks at the tower. He will say okay back on track. From there look right to see the lost soul and the angel lift you need to take. Double jump and grab it then get the soul.

Mission 7: Lost Soul 4:
Once you meet and kill the rage demons you can follow the little one again. Jump through the hole in the wall and to the left you will see the lost soul on the wall.

Mission 7: Lost Soul 5:
Once you make it out to the platform where Dante look sup and sees three Rage demons go right. Follow the path all the way to the end to get the lost soul.

Mission 7: Lost Soul 6:
While you are working your way up you will face off with a hell demon and two flying demons. Once you kill them you will have to do some angel lifting. Once you make it to the second one and get on top of it look behind you. You will see some red orb cocoons. Jump and dash to the platform and keep going to the other platforms until you get the lost soul.

Mission 7: Lost Soul 7:
Once you push the elevator down you will come across another floor to break. Before you break it though look right and get the soul on the wall.

Mission 7: Lost Soul 8:
After you break through the floor you can see the angel lift point in the top right. Go up and to the right of the divinity stone on the wall is the soul.

Mission 8

Mission 8: Lost Soul 1:
After you see the train pass you go onto the track. From there look left to see the soul hanging out of the wall.

Mission 8: Lost Soul 2:
Once you make it to the first divinity stone keep heading down the corridor. As soon as you see an opening on the right side of the wall jump up and in. You will see the soul.

Mission 8: Lost Soul 3:
Once you make it to the Harpie nest you have a few choices on where to go. Head to platform one and follow it to the end for a soul.

Mission 8: Lost Soul 4:
Same as above but to go platform 2 instead.

Mission 9

Mission 9: Lost Soul 1:
At the start of the level follow the path until you see a red door. Break it open with your axe and enter. Follow the path until you see the blue door and break it open for the soul.

Mission 9: Lost Soul 2:
After you get Devil trigger you will be lead of the statue. After you clear the enemies in the building you will angel lift to a different statue. From there you angel lift into another building. You can see the soul through a window but in order to access it you need to jump around the corner of where you entered. Follow it around and you can grab it.

Mission 11

DmC Vergil

There are no collectibles in mission 10.

Mission 11: Lost Soul 1:
Once you make it to the first divinity Stone break through the floor. Once through the floor break the blue door. You will see another door across the gap. Open it and grab the vital star inside. From there drop down the gap. Instead of breaking the red spot go into the other open doorway and get the soul.

Mission 11: Lost Soul 2:

After you defeat the enemies where Kat spray painted the door the cops will blow it open. After that they will blow another one open. Keep going until you reach the room with the blue door above. In that room on the left side is a soul.

Mission 11: Lost Soul 3:
Once you clear out the room with the computer monitors take the stairs down. At the bottom take a right and head towards the red light at the end. They try to make it look like its a dead end but you can take a right. Once you see the statues hugging each other look on the wall near there to get the soul.

Mission 11: Lost Soul 4:
From there head back the way you came and take the door with the green light over it. Its about 5 seconds from the last soul. Follow it down to the next green light door and take a right. You can see the soul on the wall.

Mission 16

No souls in the previous missions except 13. For some reason I didn’t think that level had any but I was mistaken. Once I beat the game I will go back to it.

Mission 16: Lost Soul 1:
After you enter Mundus’ hideout you need to defeat his elite guard. After that you can progress into the base. Once you hit the first divinity stone take left up the stairs. Break the red door and follow the steps down for your first soul

Mission 16: Lost Soul 2/3:
These two are actually right near each other. Once you get to room 105 clear out the enemies. From there head back to the elevator but don’t take it. If you act like you are coming out of the elevator go left and around the corner. You will see a gold key and the two souls. Jump the blocks once they stop and get all of it.

Mission 16: Lost Soul 4:
Once you make it to the elevators at floor 106 you will need to clear some enemies. Do that then just like the last two souls go around the corner. You will have to jump to the middle platform and go through the doorway. Follow the steps up and grab the soul.

Mission 16: Lost Soul 5:
While still on floor 106 you will come to an angel lift point. Drop down below that and you will see a blue door. In that door is the next soul. So the I guess the soul is technically on floor 105.

Mission 16: Lost Soul 6/7:
While still down there go to the closed elevator doors. They will open and you will see two souls inside.

Mission 16: Lost Soul 8:
After you get past the next laser trip point you will be about to meet Vergil. Instead of going to the elevator though go left and grab the soul.

Mission 16: Lost Soul 9:
This one will be impossible miss as you progress. Once you hit the west wing keep going until the screen changed color and an arrow points you down what another sky bridge. Instead of taking that though keep going straight and get the soul.

Mission 17

KatMission 17: Lost Soul 1:
Right at the start of the l;level you can go left or right. Go left and follow the path until you land from the angel lift. Once you land you will see a wall to the left. go behind that wall for the first soul.

Mission 17: Lost Soul 2:
From that soul restart from the last checkpoint so you can go right at the start instead of left. Keep following the path until you reach the platform with a hell demon and a ghost demon. Look left to see a demon grab point and angel lift point. Jump, dash, demon grab then angel lift to the platform over there. Jump up and get the soul.

Mission 17: Lost Soul 3:
Once you get to the large platform with the saw demon and the witch you are in the right place. Kill them and look in the left corner. You will see the soul.

Mission 17: Lost Soul 4:
Once you make it to the first divinity stone you will see multiple angel lift points. Take those and at the end you will see a wall on the right. The soul is on that wall.

Mission 17: Lost Soul 5:
Eventually you will reach a point where you demon pull a pillar down so you can jump to a large platform. Clear the platform of the demons and you will need to take angel lift points to progress. Once you take all of those you will see a large rock to the right. Behind that rock is the last soul for the mission.

Mission 18

Mission 18: Lost Soul 1:
At the start of the level you have four tunnels to choose from. Take the right lower one first. Once you reach the end you will see the generator. Look left to see the soul on the wall.

Mission 18: Lost Soul 2:
Now take the left bottom tunnel. Once you reach the end of the tunnel there will be a drop off point. DO not drop off but instead look right. Jump and dash to the soul.

Mission 18: Lost Soul 3:
Take the top left tunnel next. Once the tunnel opens up into a larger cavern keep following the path right. You will see the soul at the bottom.

The first boss in DmC: Devil May Cry is the Hunter Demon, this is the demon the supposedly captured Dante’s parents; so it’s time for a little payback. You’ve spent the majority of the first level running from the Hunter Demon but now it’s time to stand and fight. The below DmC: Devil May Cry Hunter Boss Guide will highlight some of the abilities available to the boss as well as a few tactics to take him down quickly.

Hunter Demon Boss Guide

DMC Dante

A wise man once said, know thy enemy, and that’s the approach we take to our Boss Guides here at Gamers Heroes. Before you head into the fight check out the various abilities available to the Hunter Demon so you’re prepared for anything he throws at you.

His primary ability is his blade, it can cause some damage but it’s not hard to see it coming. Just before the Hunter Demon takes a swing of his sword the blade will shine, giving you ample time to get out the way. As the shine effect starts, prepare to dodge just as he’s about to swing. His second ability also focuses on his sword with an overhead attack. Again it’s a pretty easy one to avoid; as soon as you see him lift the blade over his head, take a simple dodge to the left or right.

His next ability won’t become active until he jumps onto the Roller Coaster. Once on top he’ll use his range attack via his gun; this is just basic dodging so pay attention to his fire rate and you shouldn’t have a problem. He won’t climb down unless you’re actually doing damage so be sure to shoot as you dodge. Be cautious once he jumps down as he uses a powerful shock-wave. It’s one of his harder abilities to dodge so just keep well out of the way if you can.

Be sure to use a Vital Star if you think you are going to die.

Now to the actual guide part.

When the fight begins shoot him a few times until he gets close, once he moves to within melee range he will use his primary sword attack. Remember to keep your eye on his blade, once it shines get out of the way. It’s quite a slow slice so once the attack has begun and you’re at a safe distance do as much damage as you can. It’s a pretty basic start to the Demon Hunter boss fight, just dodge and attack; dodge and attack.

As long as you keep attacking it doesn’t take long to get to the next stage. Eventually the Demon Hunter will stumble, giving you ample opportunity to target his head. Once he stumbles; hit his head as often as possible and you’ll knock him all the way down. Once he’s on the floor get right in his face and give him everything you’ve got, avoiding attacking from behind his arm and go straight for his head.

Once you’ve completed that phase he’ll jump onto the Roller Coaster and begin attacking with his gun. You’ve got to make sure you dodge his attacks as his gun ability is able to grab you and if you don’t escape the grab; it will kill you. Simply dodge his gun attack and then retaliate with your ranged ability, eventually he’ll jump down. Remember to be cautious when he jumps down; you’ll see a landing area on the floor, be sure you’re not standing in it.

When he returns to ground level he’ll repeat his original ability and add his overhead slice attack. Remember the information provided in the abilities above and you shouldn’t have a problem. Repeat the first stage, where you beat him down to the ground, and this time you’ll get to finish him off.

So there you have it. A very simple DmC: Devil May Cry Hunter Boss Guide to help you get through the first Boss Battle.
