Struggling to get that Ultimate Digimon in Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth? Well, struggle no longer as our How To Get Lots Of Exp And Level Up Really Fast In Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth guide has the perfect tips and tricks you need to level up in no time. The method listed below is available throughout the game but is easiest to achieve at earlier levels if you choose Hagurumon as your starting Digimon, the mechanical cog type Digimon.

How To Level Up Fast In Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth

There are many basic ways of earning experience points quickly in the game. Fighting enemies in higher level areas, avoiding any Digimon below Champion rank, but for the quickest method possible you’re going to need to do a bit of planning and get some De-digivolution and Digivolution on the go.

You want to have at least 2 or 3 PlatinumSukamon in your party. These Digimon are incredibly easy to get early in the game and they each offer an experience points bonus when used in combat. This does not work if they are in your reserves but you can either place 3 in your active party for maximum benefit or 2 + a Digimon with an AoE strong against the Digimon you’re farming for quick kills. They can stack your experience points bonus up to 300-400%. Even fighting basic enemies on Kowloon 4 can get 3000-4000 experience points in a battle, which can have Digimon leveled from 1 to 50 in next to no time.

There are a number of ways you can get your hands on PlatinumSukamon. Here are a few Digimon you can use to either Digivolve or De-Digivolve to get the PlatinumSukamon.

Motimon
Keramon
Hagurumon
Hackmon
Etemon
MetalMamemon
Vademon

Party size in Digimon Cyber Sleuth is determined by how much Party Memory you have. If you can find more Memory UPs then you can upgrade the Party Memory more and have more Digimon going into battle with you. Check out this guide to find out how to increase your Party Memory in Digimon Cyber Sleuth.

How To Increase Party Memory In Digimon Cyber Sleuth

For the most part you will get one after every serious boss fight. There are a few other spots you will be finding them as well.

Memory UP 1 – You will get your first bonus Memory up after the first boss, Growlmon. He isn’t that hard of a fight if you bring three Digimon to face off with him.

Memory UP 2+3 = The next to come from the boss fight with Devimon and he’s two fire lackeys. This is actually a difficult fight if you don’t take out the guys on the left and right first. Devimon is capable of doing a lot of damage, be sure to stay healed up.

Memory UP 4 – Another boss fight, this time in the train station. I missed the boss name here but he takes it easy on you. He does a lot of damage but is slow and doesn’t attack as often as most other bosses. You shouldn’t have too much difficulty beating him with a couple strong Digimon.

Memory UP 5 – This is from a side case called “Nightmare Eater” which you get around chapter 4. All you need to do is go back to the Eden Entrance and go up to the corner again to beat the quest. Return to the board and you will have you reward.

Memory UP 6+7 – After the investigation with Yuuko into the Nile Corporation, during the main story, you get another 2x Memory Up defeating Jimiken. This is a battle with two of the blue fire Digimon and they are strong. Focus on one and bring him down as quickly as you can. This will make the other one hit harder but take more damage. Keep yourself healed up, a crit here can do 700+.

Memory UP 8 – During the main story, defeat Wisemon in the digital anomaly in Akihabara. This is actually a pretty hard fight, you really want a healer or a light damage type of Digimon like Angemon. He does a lot of AOE damage and one of his moves takes 50% of your current HP. If you heal to full he will use it every time. Keep yourself right around 50% and keep up the damage.

Memory UP 9 – You get this when you first go to Kowloon level 4, I believe it is in the third room. On the right side there will be an elevator that goes up to two chest. Inside this chest you will find a new Memory UP. there is a trainer here you will have to fight, it’s kind of mini boss but not that bad.

Memory UP 10 – During Chapter 8 you’ll have to investigate another dungeon in Shinjuku. The Memory Up item is located in a chest on the right hand side. It’s shortly after you defeat the two enemies to remove the giant obstacle blocking your progression.

Memory UP 11 – Complete the Case La Missel during Chapter 9.

Memory UP 12 – During Chapter 10 inside a chest in the Valhalla Server

Memory UP 13 DX – During the Chapter 10 battle inside Valhalla when you defeat MetalWarGreymon

Memory UP 14 – Complete the Shinjuku Food Tour Case in Chapter 13.

Memory UP 15 – During Chapter 14. You get a Memory UP item from defeating the boss inside Yamashina’s memory.

Memory UP 16 – When you hit Chapter 15 pick up the Case A Pet Digimon. When you follow Hackmon into the new area continue through to the orb to unlock the entire area. The chest is to the South of the orb.

Memory UP 17 – Defeat BanchoLeomon during the A Pet Digimon Case in Chapter 15.

Memory UP 18 – Defeat Dynasmon during the A Pet Digimon Case in Chapter 15.
We are updating this as we go so check back soon for more Memory UP locations!

Memory UP 19 – Complete Case Yuuko And Yuugo in Chapter 15.

Memory UP DX 22 – Defeat Craniamon during Chapter 16 in Kowloon 5.

Memory UP 23 – Complete Case Ghost Cat Building during Chapter 16.

Memory UP DX 24 – Defeat Examon at the end of Chapter 16

How To Raise/Max CAM Camaraderie In Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth
The CAM stat on your Digimon in Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth is vital if you’re hoping to achieve some of the more iconic Digivolve options in the game. This guide will tell you everything you need to know to raise and max your CAM (Camaraderie) stat so that you can choose the right Digivolve options as soon as they are available.

The CAM stat in Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth plays several different roles. It plays a vital role in combat and is directly tied to your Digimon’s ability to perform combo attacks, with higher level of CAM stat increasing the potential chances to launch a combo attack. It is also a requirement to be able to Digivolve your Digimon into certain types.

There are several ways to increase your CAM stat if you want to unlock a certain Digivolve option. The cheapest way to increase CAM is to simply fight alongside your Digimon. If you fight with a Digimon in a battle they will get a 1% increase to CAM after every battle. However, they have to actually be in your battle team and not set as a Reserve. This is typically the best method to raise Digimon that require small amounts to Digivolve, such as the requirement of having 10% CAM stat for Champion Digivolve’s.

As you progress through the game you will find higher requirements such as 25% CAM stat, and even 100%. These can still be achieved using the basic battle method but that can be long and drawn out. You can use your DigiFarm to feed basic Digimeat to your Digimon, this offers a 1-5% increase in CAM, although it can fail and you have to wait for the Digimeat to replenish. You can buy higher quality Exciting Meat from the store in the DigiLab at 5000 Yen. These can also fail but when successful they can increase CAM by 20% and up.

There are also various items that you can discover on your adventures that help increase the CAM stat. Items such as the Friendship DX can be rewards given after quests or found in chests, and can increase CAM by 25.

How To Get/Raise 100% Friendship

Another important stat when leveling your Digimon or trying to reach some of the more powerful DigiVolution options is Friendship. This is basically tied in directly with the CAM stat. If a DigiVolution asks that you have 1 Digimon with 100% CAM, another with 100% CAM and friendship between them both, it basically just means both Digimon need 100% CAM and be together in the party when you try to DigiVolve them.

How To Raise ABI Stat

We’ve had a few people ask how to raise/increase the ABI stat. This can be yet another requirement when trying to DigiVolve into specific Digimon later in the game. In order to increase your ABI stat your Digimon need to evolve more and more. The best way to do this is to level a Digimon to X level and then de-DigiVolve them into their previous form and then back again. This will not only increase the ABI stat each time but it will also increase the Digimon’s max level and base stats.

As you progress through the story it’s a good idea to check the whiteboard inside the Kuremi Detective Agency as regularly as possible. You will often find new Cases added to the board but make sure you always give priority to the red labeled Cases if you want to progress with the main story quicker. Certain Cases are unlocked on an almost random basis, with something as simple as speaking to a ! marked NPC, so be sure to check often.

Blue and Yellow are normal Cases, Purple is for bonus Cases and DLC content and Green are Cases you unlock through Investigation on the DigiFarm.

Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Case Guide – Great Case Challenges

Unlike the other Case’s in Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth the vast majority of the Great Challenges focus entirely on combat, usually defeating strong opponents for rare and valuable prizes. As such it is difficult to guide these Case’s with any level of guaranteed accuracy as the difficulty varies greatly depending on the Digimon you’re using, the level they have and the abilities you have chosen to delete.

However, there’s a few general golden rules that will help when completing Case’s that involve difficulty combat challenges. Firstly make sure you’ve read our fast leveling guide for Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth. Once you understand the basics you’ve got all the ingredients you need to rise to any challenge. Once you hit Chapter 19 the interior of the Tokyo Metropolitan Office is home to some of the highest level Digimon you’ll encounter. Using the fast exp method you can still earn enough experience points to get a single level per fight in the low to mid 80s range. So if you’re struggling with a specific Great Challenge, level up, DigiVolve, stock up on items and try again.

It is also worth making sure your Digimon have the best items available equipped. The shop in Broadway stocks +20 items for each of the stats. Personally I found stacking damage on a couple and having a healing or buffing Digimon with high defense or speed to work well.
