After completing The Extermination mission from Eris you will get three patrol missions from her. The Hand of Crota, Eyes of Crota and Heart of Crota are all done on Earth. Check this guide to find which areas you will need to visit to get the right patrol missions!

Eric Cosmodrome Patrol Missions

You will need to go to the area and kill the Crota minion to start the wave. After the wave spawns there will be a unit with yellow HP that needs to die to complete the mission.

Hand Of Crota – For this mission you need to go to the Lunar Complex. The Lunar Complex is the building that you go through to get to the first Loot Cave. It is also the area where you first fight a Wizard during story. When you spawn on earth go to the left through the area with all the planes and you will end up there. Once you inside you need to go the area that is pitch black and has your ghost lighting the way. In the corner of this room you can see a thrall hunched over. Kill him and the boss and his minions will spawn.

Heart Of Crota – You will need to find the Refinery for this mission. To find this area assume you are playing the Strike Mission(The Devil’s Lair) for earth. There is an area with a crashed ship right before the area that you fight three waves of enemies and defend the ghost. That area is where you will find the boss. If you go to the point where the ghost cuts through the lasers then you have gone to far!

Eyes Of Crota – This unit can be found through the Terrestrial Complex. Take the Mothyards to the Forgotten Shore and use the pathway on the left side of the area to go up to the Complex. Take the complex all the way through until you get back outside and you can see the Knight sitting near a portal on the edge. Take him down and take the vase to start the battle. You will have three mini boss units to kill this time. Use cover to avoid the drop ship shots. If you are having trouble finding the Forgotten Shore, take the canyon from the Mothyards.

After that return to Eris and you can turn all these in and you finally gain access the Strike missions.

A new NPC comes in The Dark Below expansion and she brings new bounty missions to the Tower. Eris Morn has her own reputation, shaders, emblems and class gear. If you want to access her gear you will have to complete her bounty missions.

Eris Morn Bounties

You can find Eris near the Tower North entrance. Her missions are updated daily so check back soon for more updates. If you know any quick ways to get reputation besides the strikes be sure to let us know so we can add it!

Let’s Dance – To complete this bounty you need to kill 7 enemies rapidly with melee attacks. I’m not sure how quickly it needs to be but if you can find a group of low level Thralls you can do it quickly. To make sure you complete be sure to have you perks set to the strongest melee you can have, or one that increases your speed.

Boneshaker – This is a Titan specific one and you have to kill 7 hive with on Fist of Havoc. I’m not sure how difficult this one is but if you are doing the story missions you will be swarmed over and over and shouldn’t have much trouble getting 7 eventually. If you have a better way of doing it please leave a comment.

The Cleansing – You need to kill any 10 Major or Ultras during a Nightfall missions to complete this bounty. I’m not that far yet but I will update when I get to a Nightfall mission.

I had another one but I completed it before I started writing this up. I think I had to kill a certain amount of Hive without dying.

The Will Of Crota – After beating the Story Strike mission I was able to get this bounty mission. All you have to do is beat the The Will Of Crota Strike Mission and complete this bounty.

One Of Us – You will need to kill 10 Hive Major or Ultras with any of Eris’ class items equipped to complete this mission. I used the one I got at the end of the story to complete it. You can tell it’s an Eris item by the I in the corner.

Chase The Dark – This is a Warlock specific challenge. You will need to use the Axion Bolt Grenade and kill 25 enemies with it. It will take a little while due to the grenade cooldown.

Deadshot Collector – You need to kill 50 Hive with precision damage while you have a Black Wax Idol on. I would use a burst or scout rifle to complete this mission.

Siege Of The Warmind – You have to defend Rasputin in the Siege Of The Warmind mission on Heroic to complete this bounty. Bring some buddies and set the mission to Heroic to do this one.

Hard Fall – You need to kill any 4 Hive quickly with a heavy weapon for this mission. I just found 4 Hive and used a rocket on them all to beat this one.

Bonebreaker – You need to be a Titan to complete this bounty. I’m not sure how many Wizards you need to kill but you will need to use Shoulder Charge a few times on them. I’d look for low level Wizards to get this done quickly.

One of the new story missions in The Dark Below has you looking for Xur so you can buy The Urn Of Sacrifice. You know Xur right? The guy who only appears for the weekend and disappears for a week? Well here we are Tuesday with the mission to complete and no Xur to be found.

Finding The Urn Of Sacrifice

Well without Xur you can’t actually complete this quest so you will have to wait until the weekend. When he does appear we will update this guide and tell you where to find him in the Tower and how much the Urn costs. Be sure to check back then for the update! You’d figure the guys who made this game were more than likely aware he wouldn’t be there until the weekend so why add the mission? So you will log more hours after you beat The Dark Below of course!

UPDATE – Xur can be found next to the Crucible Quartermaster down the stairs. You can buy the Urn for one strange coin. After that turn it into Eris Morn to get the next part of the quest. You will need to kill 25 Thrall with Solar damage from a fusion rifle and collect what they drop. If you die the counter will reset.

Still there is some good news because you don’t need to beat this mission to progress with the DLC. Grab the mission The Extermination from Eris as well and beat that one. All you have to do is kill Wizards and Knights throughout the game world to complete this mission. I just do The Summoning Pits strike mission on the moon and got more than enough after two play throughs. You could probably do it in one but my team decided to kill the boss really quickly before any of the additional units could spawn at the end.

If the do update it and add Xur before the weekend hits we will be sure to add that as well! Either way check back soon and hope they decide to put Xur in a bit earlier than normal.

The Destiny raid is an extremely difficult instance that require you to have 6 people in order to complete. The first part of the raid is getting into The Vault Of Glass. Use this guide to help you get into The Vault Of Glass!

Fighting Into The Vault Of Glass

First off if you are not at least level 25 do not try this raid it is VERY difficult. You need to hold the three bronze circles for around 5 minutes consistently without Praetorians going onto the platforms. There will be a white see through tower that starts to form the longer you hold the areas. It drops extremely fast if any Praetorian steps into the circle and turns it red. Bring something with Void damage because the Praetorians have Void shields which are weak to Void damage. Be sure to bring extra ammo because the fights are long.

This isn’t a darkness area so you can respawn if you die but it has a 5 second delay on resurrection timers. You will need 4 bruiser types to hold the left and right circles and 2 ranged guys to support from the middle top circle. Everyone should be using shotguns or fusion rifles as their specials for when a Praetorian gets close. The guys up in the middle should be using something with at least medium tier range like pulse rifle or scout rifle. The guys on left and right can use whatever they want for their normal guns but I had the most success with a pulse rifle. Rockets are very useful for breaking down shields and taking out the multiple adds quickly.

Before you start you need to figure out whose going to go where during the fight. The guys up in the center area will have to move around a lot more then the guys on the left and right. If you have two titans they should be on both sides but if not put someone who is willing to focus armor and recovery there. The top guys should be focused on speed in case they need to run to any side to assist. If the Praetorians get the circle to red the light tower will basically reset.

Once you in position they enemies can spawn from only 4 spots. They key to winning this is busting the enemies up before they can get too far out of the spawn. Here are the spawn points.

Communication is also very important because the guys in the middle need to know if something got through the need to worry about. The guys in the middle should be standing at this point so they can have an overlook two spawn points and can see where the enemies will be traveling. The top guys need to call out if they see something spawning in case the guys on the right or left missed it.

From here you can see two of the spawn points and the route the enemies will be traveling to the circles. The guy on the left helps out the left and the guy on the right helps out the right. Even if you focus the spawn points close to the middle the mobs still might go for the middle marker. When this happens you need to tell your teammates right away so they can take them out before they get into the circle. As far as I could tell only the Praetorians could change the circle to red so they should be your focus.

Warlocks should really consider using the Voidwalker class for this part because of the Void damage. My group had 5 Warlocks and 1 Hunter and we beat it after we figured out nothing spawns directly on the top circle. If a Praetorian gets into the circle it will turn red even if you have a player inside. If you get in their face with a shotgun or melee they will focus you instead of moving towards the circles. This normally ends in your death but sometimes that is better than letting them get the circle. If you can take the Praetorian’s head off they will really rage at you if you are close to them.

If you can keep the Praetorians off the circles you will win. As for the Goblins and Hob Goblins be sure to focus on the crystals in their stomachs because that’s the weak point. Rockets, grenades and specials can really help you clear out a whole wave if you are on the verge of being overran. This may take you about an hour but once you get a good rhythm going with your team it will all come together.

After the tower finally fills up you can enter The Vault Of Glass. Be ready to rage super hard because the next boss is ridiculously tough.

In Destiny you will get items and materials that you can use for various things in game. Some come from dismantling armor while others can be found in the open world or during missions. Check out the full Destiny item and material list here!

Upgrade Materials

Materials are used to upgrade your weapons and armor. You can get most of them by dismantling equipment you don’t need anymore. End game currency also goes in these slots.

Spinmetal – Spinmetal can be found on earth by patrolling the cosmodrome. In the world they are silver plants coming out of toxic barrels. You can also find them in chests. Used to upgrade certain weapons and armor.

Helium Filaments – Found on the Moon. In the world they are a bunch of glowing orange tubes. Used to upgrade certain armor and weapons.

Spirit Bloom – Found on Venus. Looks like a glowing green flower in the world. Used to upgrade certain weapons and armor.

Relic Iron – Found on Mars. Looks like a worn down pillar and out of place. Used to upgrade certain weapons and armor.

Ascendant Shard – Rare upgrade material that upgrades epic armor. Can be found in rare class engrams or rewarded for events.

Ascendant Energy – The other one upgrades armor so my guess is this one upgrades epic weapons. Also given as event rewards or found by decrypting rare class engrams.

Weapon Materials – Of course used to upgrade weapons. You get these from dismantling weapons.

Sapphire Wire – Hunter armor upgrade material. Break down hunter armor to get these materials.

Hadronic Essence – Warlock armor upgrade material. Break down warlock armor to get these upgrade materials.

Plasteel Plating – Titan armor upgrade material. Break down titan armor to get this materials.

Item List

To use an item go to your inventory and press the use button.

Ether Seeds – Can be used to increase glimmer gained from Fallen enemies for 10 minutes. You find these on Earth from chests or off enemy mobs.

Black Wax Idol – When used increases glimmer gained by killing Hive enemies for 10 minutes. Found in chests on the Moon or as a random drop on the Moon.

Blue Polyphage – Using this will increase glimmer earned by killing Vex enemies for 10 minutes. Found on Venus in chests or as random enemy loot drops.

Resupply Cides – Use to gain more glimmer when you kill Kabal enemies. Found on Mars in chests or from enemies as loot.

Ammo Synthesis – If you go to the weapon vendor on the Tower you can buy all types of ammo synthesis. With these you can refill your ammo from your inventory instead of running through the fire fight to pick some up. Not really needed until late game.

Weapon Telemetry – A weapon telemetry provides an EXP buff certain weapons. Xur sells them for one Strange Coin each and switches them every weekend. The buff only lasts 30 minutes and only works on whatever type of weapon the telemetry says(Auto Rifle Telemetry only works for Auto rifles and so on.)

The Grimoire in Destiny is basically an in game achievement system that rewards you for hitting certain ranks. Some of the rewards come from killing a certain amount of enemies while others require you to do a certain amount of missions or PVP matches. Find out how to check your Grimoire score here!

How To Check Your Grimiore Score In Destiny

Although the achievements are earned in game you cannot actually look at the cards or your progress in game. You will have to head to bungie.net or download the Grimiore app on your smart phone. Once you do that you can look at your Grimiore score and more importantly find out how close you are to earning a bonus reward.

There are six different Grimiore card sets and each of those have multiple sub sets to complete. To make it simple click the enemy Grimoire and select the Fallen. Now click on the Dreg card and in the bottom right corner you can click the bar to find out how close you are to completing a rank. From there you can read what bonus you will get based off the rank you currently are. For instance I am currently working on rank 3 of the Dreg kills and I now have a passive buff that boosts the amount of Glimmer a Dreg will drop when I use the Fallen Glimmer drop item. You share a Grimiore score across ALL of your characters so any buffs you earn will instantly be applied to a new character you make.

Kills are not the only Grimiore cards that give extra buffs. If you go to Strike missions or Patrol missions you can also gain buffs for those types of events. In order to find how close you are to a certain buff go to the Legend and click advisors. On the bottom right you will see the closest bonuses section.

Outside of buffs all Grimiore cards have a little bit of lore attached to them if you want to get deeper into the Destiny story. Basically anyone you talk to or any planet you complete will have a card you can read if you want. Currently there are planets like Jupiter and Saturn that you can’t access but you have a card for. These are expected to be added in the DLC expansions.

Each class in Destiny has a unique piece of armor they can equip. The hunter has a cloak, the warlock has armband and the titan has a mark. Find out where you can buy class items here!

Where To Get Cloaks In Destiny

You do start with a class item equipped but it doesn’t look all that cool.

For basic lower level class items head over to the Cryptarch in the Tower. By the class item engram and you will get a white class item that you can equip. For the cool class items head to the speaker and check out what he has to offer. You will need Motes of Light but you can look at them by going to details over the item. You cannot look at other class equipment at the moment.

Once you reach level 20 you can visit the New Monarchy, Dead Orbit or Future War Cult and get a class item there. With that equipped you will gain rep for that faction during PVP matches. If you are lucky on occasion you will get a class item as an enemy drop or from a chest. You can also get rare item engrams from PVP matches.

Where To Get Armor Shaders In Destiny

In Destiny you have a few emotes you can do for fun or to point out loot crates. Thing is they aren’t explained in the game so you could go through the game not knowing how to do them. Check out this article to find out how to emote in Destiny!

How To Dance In Destiny

You can do emotes while you are in the Tower or out during a mission. All you have to do is click the directions on the D-pad and you will do one of four emotes. Up is wave, down is sit, left is point and right is dance. The emotes will change depending on which race and sex you are. Now when you see people dancing in the Tower you can join in on the fun and get a dance party started!

You can also emote while you are on a sparrow by using the D-pad. Up points forward, left points left, right points right and down makes a stop gesture. Not really all that useful but still funny to use while driving around on your sparrow.

Destiny Daily And Weekly Missions

Both the weekly and daily missions buff the enemies dramatically and the difficult is automatically hard. These missions are designed to be some of the most difficult in the game and the rewards are great if you can complete them.

Leave your PSN Id or Xbox ID in the comments so we can start forming some groups. Be sure to leave if you are on Ps4, Ps3, Xbox 360 or Xbox One so I can group them up easier. I will add names as comments appear so only leave a comment if you want to be on the list!
