After a couple of chapters in Dead Island you will take a large truck to the City of Moresby. This is the next large side quest hub. Inside the church if where you will start.

I want to say this is around chapter 5. I am doing this as I go so bare with me.

Dead Island City of Moresby side quest guide 1 – Alcohol for Theresa – Inside the church is a large woman and she is among the quest givers. She wants some booze and needs 5 bottles. give her the 5 bottles and get your reward.

Dead Island City of Moresby side quest guide 2 – One foot in the Grave – Speak to Deanna in the Church. she will ask you to retrieve some insulin from a shop nearby. You will have to fight your way there then break the door down. Behind the counter inside a crate is the medicine. Grab it and you can return whenever you see fit.

Dead Island City of Moresby side quest guide 3 – One Last Breath – This is in the Warehouse. This is a different hub in the city. It is south east from the church and when you get near it(it is a bit of a walk) a side quest will appear. Do that side quest and you will have access to a warehouse full of new quests. In the back is a girl who needs her inhaler. Head to the marker location and break the door in. Inside behind the counter is the inhaler. Grab it and go.

Dead Island City of Moresby side quest guide 4 – Picture of Bliss – Jack is a man looking for a photo of his daughter. He will tell you where it is and you have to get there. Once there go inside and you will have to deal with guys with guns. Seemed like they had at least 5 guys in there so I recommend an explosive or a gun of your own. Kill them take the picture from the counter and you can leave.

Dead Island City of Moresby side quest guide 5 – In Cold blood – You will meet a man in the church who will tell you his wife and daughter have turned. He will give you the location and ask you to kill them. go to the marker then open the door to the house. Inside there are things to loot and both of them. Kill them both and you are done.

Dead Island City of Moresby side quest guide 6 – Simon Says… – While roaming the streets you will come across a warehouse if you explore south east of the church. You need to clear out all the zombies in front of the door then go in. This will open the new hub.

Dead Island City of Moresby side quest guide 7 – Radio Ga Ga – This quest will have you going to shop that is protected by guys with guns. Getting there is also a pain but once there you will have to get out of melee or you will likely die. Head shots work wonders on humans so aim for the head. loot behind the counter after you kill them and be sure to grab both. Then you are done.

Dead Island City of Moresby side quest guide 8 – Blood ties – Kwan in the warehouse is worried about his brother and he will send you out after him. Follow the marker and you will have to go inside a house. Once inside kill all the zombies and go in the door Cho is waiting.

After that you will have to escort Cho back to Kwan. It is really to bad he helps out and I didn’t come across many zombies. That said I let him go ahead of me a bit and he died so be sure to stay by him. After a couple minutes you will be back to the warehouse and be done with the quest.

Dead Island City of Moresby side quest guide 9 – Last chance on the Wall – Howard in the church will want you to put posters up all over the city. You will have to put up four in all and it is scattered all over the city. Follow each marker and put the posters on the poster board. Each objective is more and more guarded so be ready for some action. Once done you can return for a reward.

Dead Island City of Moresby side quest guide 10 – Message to the masses – A guy in the church named Hugo will give this one to you. He will want you to bring a message to a guy hiding in a building. It’s pretty easy to get there but once there you will need to climb some boxes and jump the fence to get inside. Talk to him and complete the quest. After that talk to him again for the next quest.

Dead Island City of Moresby side quest guide 11 – The first head of Cerberus – This one has me a tad confused at first because the marker will only lead you to the area of the quest.

Follow the first marker and it will lead you straight to a ladder. Take that ladder up and you will see a wooden plank you can take. Cross that plank and start shooting the gun guys. There had quite a few so clear them out then hit the switch.Head for the next marker.

The marker will lead you to the switch but we need to get on the roof to access it. The building to the left will have a ladder. Take that ladder up and cross the plank to the house. Take the ladder down and activate switch 2. Head back up and towards the next marker which is connected to this house.

Follow the roof of the building and kill a couple zombies while up there. Once you make it to the switch you will have a thug. You can hit the switch and run or grenade him like I did. After that head down to the street. Follow the marker.

The marker will lead you in the direction of the next switch. Keep going and you will see a make shift guard tower. Climb up that tower and look left right when you come up. You will see a roof that you can jump to. Run and jump to it then the switch is right around the corner. Be careful though there is a suicider. Dodge it then hit the switch. After that head back to garret for a reward and the next part.

Dead Island City of Moresby side quest guide 12 – The second head of Cerberus – This time we need to do the on the coast area so they can hear about the church. Head to the first marker. You will see a ladder on the building opposite of the marker. Climb up the ladder and on the edge you should see some metal things you can jump on. Follow that path and don’t fall off when you jump or you will die. Take the wooden plank at the end and you will be able to activate the switch. Do so then head down. Head to the next marker.

The next marker will lead you towards the sea. At the house that it leads you to,around back is a ladder. That that ladder up and head left. At the end of the roof you will see the intercom. To get in you have to go around to the door and not fall off. It is pretty easy just go slow.

The next one isn’t actually on a roof. Once at the marker you should see a blocked off area. Follow it until you see two mini crates. Move them then go in that path to hit the switch. Last one ahead.There is a side quest here but we will do it later.

Once you get to the marker you should see it on the stone wall. There is a thug near it so watch yourself. What you need to do is go to the end of the stone wall and use the crate to jump on it. Follow it to the intercom and hit the switch to complete this quest.

Dead Island City of Moresby side quest guide 13 – A New broom sweeps clean – Back at the third marker of the head of Cerberus quest is a house. Outside of that house is a bunch of guys. Talk to Nick. He will tell you to find a way in and kill his friend. Head around to the left if you are looking at the house and there is a ladder you can take up. Take that ladder to the roof and go into the house from there. Once inside kill the thug and open the door to complete the quest.

Once you regain control of your character you can move around the compound and talk to people. Most of the people have quests so check for the ! mark on your mini map and talk to them. A lot of these can be done together so you don’t have to go back and fourth.

Dead Island Chapter 2 Side quest guide 1 – Bloody Health Service! – Talk to Doctor Jack and he will ask you to knock in the door so he can help the girl out. Break the door and clear out the zombies. After that re talk to Jack and he will give you the reward and another quest that isn’t for here.

Dead Island Chapter 2 Side quest guide 2 – Lazarus Rising – Talk to Hank who is fixing up a car and he will ask you to find some car parts. This one is simple follow the road up and check all the broken cars with the hoods up and loot them. After you get 4 go back to Hank and he will tell you he is going to fix the car up. It won’t be fixed right away I had to go do a different quest and come back for the truck.

Dead Island Chapter 2 Side quest guide 3 – Life in the Bag – Check your map and you should see a few markers on the road. The first one should be for this quest. You need to get the medic bag out from the back of the truck. They have a couple zombies near it so clear them out and then grab the item from the back. Go back to the doc for your reward.

Dead Island Chapter 2 Side quest guide 4 – Nectar of Life – Before leaving the ambulance head up the steps and you should see the skulls indicating some zombies are attacking survivors. Clear them out and go inside. Inside there are two ladies and both of them have quests. The first one just wants some water. This is repeatable so you can do it as much as you have water. Be sure to grab the Teddie bear one from the other girl as well.

Dead Island Chapter 2 Side quest guide 5 – Ashes to Ashes – Head to the gas station on the map. Use your marker to find the right way. Go into the gas station and talk to the guy near the back door. He will tell you to use the roof to get the power back on. Go outside and use the ladder to get on the roof. Then go to the other roof and fall through a hole. There is a Thug down here a couple more zombies. Clear them out and use the switch to turn the power back on to the pumps. After that head outside to the pumps and clear any zombies around that. Grab a canister to fill up and then go to a pump and fill it up. It does take awhile but once it’s filled put it in the back of a truck and take it back to the station. Once there talk to Mike and the quest will be complete.

Dead Island Chapter 2 Side quest guide 6  – Fiery Drinks – After doing the quest for Mike he will offer you Molotov cocktails for 5 bottles of alcohol. This is repeatable so do it whenever you have enough.

Dead Island Chapter 2 Side quest guide 7 – Toy  story –  This is the quest you get from Annie. She is the girl next to the repeatable water quest turn in. Check your map and back to all the bungalows and the pools we go. In number 15 is the bear. You will have to clear a few zombies but follow the way point and you’ll make it. Grab and it and turn it back into Annie for a reward. Don’t do that quite yet though.

Dead Island Chapter 2 Side quest guide 8 – Hit and Run – Check Below For Video – If you look on the big map and just got the bear, you will see the ! on the map. Make a marker there and head out. Once there you will meet Omar. He will ask you to retrieve a key so he can get the money he is owed. After talking to him you will get a way path. Follow it and you will be at the bathrooms. Down there is the key. It is on a Thug. Take him down and head back to Omar. He will then open the door and ask you to find the safe. Behind a painting of a turtle is the safe so move it. Talk to him and he will give you cash.

Dead Island Chapter 2 Side quest guide 9 – Omar Escort – Check Below For Video – Omar will want to get back to the life guard station. This one is easy just follow Omar and kill any zombies around him. Once you get there talk to him and he will give you a gun.

Dead Island Chapter 2 Side quest guide 10 – Family Matters –  This one is a bit far off but we are going to do it anyways. Check your map and up and to the right you should see the marker. Not only is it a long walk but it is dangerous. I had to fight like 5 thugs on the way there. Once you get there jump the barricade and talk to him. He will tell you what to do then pay you. Leave and go back to his family and turn it in.This is an extremely long walking quest.

Dead Island Chapter 2 Side quest guide 11 – Time For Booze This quest is in the mini quest hub located in the most North Eastern section of the Diamond bungalows. In the same place you find as Kelly’s Husband. Svetlana is the person you need to speak with to start the quest. She asks you to find her a nice bottle of champagne.

Dead Island Chapter 2 Side quest guide 12 – Two Hearts The starting point for this quest is near the Time For Booze quest at the North Eastern most part of the Diamond bungalows. You have to find her sister. Her Sister is the person that gives you the Toy Story Quest way back to the West. The quickest way to get there is to swim as you can avoid any unnecessary aggro from the Infected. Remember to grab any bottles of water you find on the way as you can turn these in at the same time. Speak to her Sister and as long as you’ve turned in the Teddy Bear, she will tell you to return to her Sister and tell her she’ll be fine as the Teddy will take care of her. Appears everyone is going a little crazy but hey, exp is exp, head back to the start point to turn the quest in.

Dead Island Chapter 2 Side quest guide 13 – My Bloody Valentine This quest is located in the same place you find the necklace for the quest “My Precious”. You have to escort the dieing guys wife back to his brother, James, at the lighthouse. This is fairly easy as you can use the truck outside if you wish, makes short work of any infected that get in your way and can get you back to the lighthouse within a couple of minutes.

Dead Island Chapter 2 Side quest guide 13 – Knocking On Heavens Door You get this quest automatically the first time you arrive at the Lighthouse, first thing you need to do is speak with the Lighthouse Guard. You can then go to the top of the lighthouse to speak with James and unlock the rest of the quests at this hub…

Dead Island Chapter 2 Side quest guide 14 – Make yourself at home – Check Below For Video – On the route to the second gas station you will come across a large warehouse with a gate and a guy standing outside it. Talk to him and he wants you to get inside and see whats going on. The way I got inside is I took a truck and parked it on the right of the wall and jumped over the wall and used the back door. Inside is a Thug kill it and open the door to complete the quest.

Dead Island Chapter 2 Side quest guide –  Fluid Necessity – Check Below For Video – From the Harlan(the guy you just let in)  you get this quest. He wants some gas. Head down the road to the gas station and the cans will show up on the mini map. You will face some heavy resistance including a few thugs and infected. After you deal with them put the gas in the truck(be sure to grab two) and head back to Harlan for the reward.

Quest Information
Quest Name: Passport To Life
Difficulty: Easy
Reward: 400 Experience Points, Nail’d Mod
Quest Giver: Sinamoi (NPC)

You’ll start chapter 1 after completing the Dead Island Prologue and you’ll be inside the safe room with the other survivors. You can search the bathroom for an Energy Drink, after doing so speak with Sinamoi to continue. Accept the quest, you can then move to the back of the hut near the bathroom and speak with Steven to get another quest “The Lost”. After you leave the hut, walk to the end of the Jetty and search the box for a nice, shiny crowbar, definitely a step up from a lump of wood. There’s also a couple of bags near the broken truck, search the small huts for the last one. Head North past the truck until you reach an area with a ton of bags. Search the bags but leave the Fruit and Energy drinks. Nearby is a tunnel with steam pouring out the entrance, duck under the steam and search the box to obtain another weapon, it’s inevitable to take a bit of damage here but you can survive if you’re fast, then eat the fruit outside to restore some of your health. As you head back you can take the left turn into the water area to eventually reach the Side Quest WaterDance. Continue back towards the hut and follow the objective marker route. You can follow the signs to the cliffside beach, there’s a few infected and a fair bit of cash in some of the beach-side huts. There’s also a hidden objective, a short distance towards the cliff-side beach is a truck with Harris inside, it’s being attacked. Rescue him and you’ll earn 500 experience points and can then accompany him to a nearby station to gather supplies. There’s no need to travel any further down this route so go back to the hut and then go up the stairs following the signs to Ocean View Bungalows.

Head up to the top of the stairs to the pool area, it’s pretty tame around here and there’s nothing that will cause you many problems. Something worth noting though, infected can’t breath under water so a swift kick or solid head hit sending them to the floor of the pool is a quick way to finish them off. When you reach the cabin, you’ll notice a bloodbath outside, speak with Ted, doesn’t do much yet but it’s always good to know what’s going on. Head into the cabin, break down the door and collect the ID card for Sinamoi. Head back down the stairs, you can take a few minutes to explore the nearby area but there isn’t much worth noting apart from the odd bit of cash and weapon components. Once you return to Sinamoi that will complete the Passport To Life Quest Guide and begin the next quest in the main line, Exodus.

Reward: 600 Experience Points, Homemade Cleaver
Quest Giver: Sinamoi (NPC)

Head out the hut and follow the objective marker. If you haven’t done it yet, you can complete the hidden objective to save Harris as his truck is being attacked by a small horde of infected. This rewards you with 500 experience points so it’s worth doing while you’re here anyway.

Once you get to the quest marker you need to open the gate. Open it and clear out the zombies. After that a cut scene will happen and you will deal with your first Thug. These guys will knock you back with a hit and hits hard. He his slow though so you can hit and run him. If you have a Molotov like I did then use that on him. If not use whatever is fast to get and out. Other zombies will come from the garage so deal with them when you have to. He isn’t really a boss he dies quick. After that check out the inside of the station and clear out all the zombies. Use the work bench if you want then head up the stairs next to the bench. Up top fight your way to the radio tower and use the radio. You will get a cut scene and the quest is complete.

The Lost Sidequest Guide
You can start this quest by speaking with Steven after you’ve got the main quest from Sinamoi. He asks you to find Maggie, a member of another group of survivors that separated from Steven’s group earlier.

WaterDance Sidequest Guide
This quest is located Northwest of the hut you’re inside at the start of Chapter One. If you head North away from the main objective and take a right to the water area with the small boat, kill the surfer dudes and search nearby for more weapon components and some cash. As you go through the area you’ll notice an overturned boat, search the other side for a new weapon. Continue heading West and you’ll come across another couple of Infected, dispatch of them and continue along the path. A little further along and you come across a Gas Station, getting near the building will launch the Sidequest WaterDance. There is a vehicle in the vicinity (marked by a steering wheel on the map) you can jump in to quickly dispatch of the nearby infected. After that you need to turn off the electricity in the area. The first switch is located in the South Eastern corner of the Gas Station, it’s not guarded and is inside a small building with some tires and boxes. The next one is inside the building in the fenced area on the Southern side of the gas station. The easiest way to get in is to follow the fence to the most Southern edge and jump off a bush over the fence and into the compound. Dispatch of the infected outside and open the door. You’ll find 4 more infected inside looking to be introduced to your weapon of choice, kill them and search the nearby corpse for some cash. There’s also a locked container nearby that requires level 3 lock-picking to open. You’ll notice the generator at the back of the room, once it’s cleared turn it off. You can remove the Blockade blocking the door to save you running out the back again. Once your back outside you need to head to the next generator. Head Northeast to the burning tunnel, there’s a good chance the area will have a new horde of infected around so stay sharp and be careful of the ones that come running out the tunnel as the fire can damage you. You’ll notice a raised area above the tunnel, jump towards the ladder and hit the interact button to grab it and climb up. Turn off this last generator to complete the quest. Although it doesn’t list any rewards, turning off the power gives you access to a roof in the middle of the area. Be careful when you climb onto the roof as an infected and level 2 Thug are waiting for you, the Thug’s attacks can knock you back and off the rooftop so be careful. Search the rooftop for a Collectible, there’s also a level 2 locked chest, then you can smash the glass on the rooftop to gain access to the room below. There’s a good amount of cash and items inside so give it a good search.

Once you kill the 3 Infected attacking the door, Stanley Garrison will open up and talk to you. Rather than a survivor in desperate need of assistance, it appears Stanley is a fan of hitting the ol’ bottle and he tasks you the simple job of collecting him a bottle of alcohol. I say simple, it can get complicated if you drink it by mistake. Head North into the cabin, you’ll notice a blue marker on your map indicating the location of the booze. Go into the cabin, watch out for the Infected in the bathroom, collect the bottle and head back to Stanley. I took about 12 bottles for me to complete the quest and he paid me 3 times. The last bottle gave me the 400 exp.

Too much Sugar quest guide: You may of heard a radio call from Bungalow 20 when you got to your first upgrade station. This quest is for that place. If you stay on the beach for a few minutes you will see a sign that points at some stairs and says Golden bungalows. Follow those stairs up and look at your map once up top. You should see a ton of huts kind of close together and across the road you will see a lone one. Go to that one and fight your way inside. There is a dying man and he asks you to bring the medicine to his brother back in room 14.

After that you will have a way point to 14. Follow it and kill all the zombies around and go inside. Open the door and give him the meds for the reward.

You can’t interact with any of the survivors in the room so walk through and try to interact with the door. The guy will tell you that you need to find a weapon, a gun, maybe a baseball bat, anything to smash some infected skulls in with. Sadly the game provides you with an Oar, not exactly a weapon of choice when fighting for survival but hey, here it goes. Kamikaze out of the door to be met with several infected attempting to munch on your buddy Sinamoi, quickly dispatch of the Infected using your weapon to move onto the next part. It helps if you kick the Infected that is restricting Sinamoi as he’ll then help you to fight off the rest of them.

Once you’ve dispatched of all the infected, another cut-scene plays through and you complete the second part of the prologue which marks the end of our Blood On The Sand Quest Guide and begin the Passport to Life Quest.

To start with, head into your bathroom, there’s a medium med-pack sitting on the side near the sink, grab it and head out the front door. Take a left and enter the room with the 2 bodies on the floor, search the 2 cupboards, set of drawers and the suitcase to get some cash and weapon components, then head back down the corridor past your room. As you progress down the hallway you will come across several suitcases stacked up, open all 4 to collect some cash and another weapon component. Search the room at the end of the corridor and you’ll find some more cash and weapon components, be sure not to drop any as these all become useful pretty quickly. After you bust through the door, search the room for a battery and a few other bits, the bathroom is empty. Exit the room and search the briefcase’s on your left and right for a lighter and some more cash. Before leaving through the door to the outside, take the time to search all the briefcases nearby for some more cash and try to open the door on your left to complete the current Chaos Overture Quest objective.

Head outside and witness the “Raining Bodies” cut-scene then search through all the luggage before heading into the elevator shaft. Make sure you check all the bags out here as there is a lot more cash and weapon components than in previous cases. Enter the elevator shaft to go through another cut-scene, no prizes for guessing what happens here. After a narrow escape from the infected, follow the friendly sounding Australian guys advice and head out of the elevator. This bit is basically a mirror of the upstairs section, check all the luggage inside and outside for cash and weapon components and then head through the door near the pile of rotting corpses.

You get a brief few seconds to search the luggage hear before alerting a nearby hoard of nasty critters, run your ass off behind you and down the corridor towards the open door at the end. This completes all the objectives for the Dead Island Chaos Overture Quest Guide and begins the next part of the prologue Rise and Shine.
