You can discover items as Survivors during a match and if you’re able to escape with the item, it becomes yours and you can use it until death. Any add-ons attached to the item are also included so keep your eye out for higher level players who aren’t fortunate enough to escape the dreaded hooks of the Killer’s.

Much like Offerings the items and add-ons in Dead By Daylight have a limited use with items lasting until death or expiration and add-ons featuring for a single match.

Offerings can be found when leveling up your Survivor or Killer in the Bloodweb. Unlike Perks, the Offerings that you equip are single use and will expire after you complete 1 match. Like the Perks discovering Offerings of the same type can increase the overall level and effect of the Perk, unless it’s one relating to choosing a certain level or something similar.

When you first start the game you have access to a single Perk slot. You unlock additional slots at levels 15,20 and 25, allowing for a total of 4 Perks at maximum level. You can equip any Perk you have unlocked and unlike the other items in the game, they do not expire. If you unlock more than 1 of any type of Perk it is automatically leveled. So if you have Distressing Perk equipped and you find another Distressing Perk, you will then unlock Distressing Perk Rank II.

All of the Perks for both Survivors and Killers listed below are the level 1 versions. As you increase the level of the Perks the particular numbers are increased. The rarity of the Perks, Common/Uncommon/Rare/Ultra Rare are unique to that specific Perk. For example, a Distressing Perk can be both Uncommon and Rare depending on the level it was discovered. As such we have not included information on the rarity of each Perk.

How To Level Fast In Dead By Daylight

One of the more unique elements of the leveling and progression system within Dead By Daylight is that both Survivors and Killers share the same experience pool, although each have different items, add-ons and perks that they can unlock. This means that any experience points earned as a Killer can be spent on Survivors and vice versa.

This is great unless you’re a fan of slaughtering the Survivors as the Killers generally earn far less experience points. A good Killer round where you take down all 4 Survivors via hooks can get you 10-13k experience points, whereas a decent Survivor round can easily earn you 15-20k experience points. Below is a list of actions Survivors can do that earn experience points, pay close attention to those with higher rewards as it can be easier to let someone else open the final gate but that’s 2k experience points less for you.

• Escape – 5000xp
• Hatch Escape – 2000xp
• Opening Gate – 1500xp
• Hook Rescue – 1500xp
• Repairing Generator – 1000xp
• Blinding Killer – 750xp
• Healing Ally – 300xp
• Healing Self – 300xp
• Chest Search – 250xp
• Reunited – 150xp (per person)
• Skill Checks – 50-150xp

It is possible to get similar levels of experience points with the Killers but this requires playing poorly. For example, allowing Survivors to rescue their allies from hooks and then stringing them up again.
