One of the new features in Darkest Dungeon 2 is the Combat Item. Check out this guide to find out how to use Combat Items in Darkest Dungeon 2. This way you can heal those bleeds and poisons for free.
How To Use Combat Items In Darkest Dungeon 2
When you have some combat items, you need to equip them two your characters. Each character can only hold one, so be sure to pick what you need, or just what you have. Go to the characters inventory by right clicking them and then open up your inventory with i. In the top left of the character side of the inventory you can see three little tabs. Click the Combat Skills tab and you can see an empty slot.
- Find A Combat Item
- Open inventory and character inventory
- Go to Combat Skills tab on character sheet
- Select combat item
- Drag item to empty slot
- It will be available to use in combat
Grab the item from your inventory and drag it into that slot. Do it for the rest of the characters and you can use them in combat. They will be at the end of your skill bar and they do NOT take a turn to use. So you can use these and then attack, or heal, or whatever you want to do. This is also how you would go about equipping trinkets as well. Open both inventories and drag the trinkets down to the trinket slots on their character sheets.
