Dark Souls Stray Demon Guide

After returning to the Asylum in Dark Souls you can fight a new boss. It is called the Stray Demon. He is a really big and has a large weapon. This boss guide will help you bring him down with no problems. Let’s go.

First thing for the Dark Souls Stray Demon boss guide is his moves. He has a lot of moves and most of them have large area of effect damage so blocking isn’t advised unless you can escape the radius of his attacks.

First thing to note is that unless you have a reduced fall damage ring or ability on you will drop to about half hp when you fall. Best to heal ASAP.

His first ability is just his swing. He does have a huge axe and can extend almost the whole room so keeping your distance isn’t advised in this fight. He can also swing form left to right if you are somewhat close but not very close. You can roll under this to avoid it. He will also sometimes use his ability right after the swing making the area he swung in explode doing damage.

His second ability is the most annoying ability. He lifts his axe up and drops it down on to the floor doing a huge AoE in front of him and a smaller one behind him. When he is doing this you have about 2 seconds to roll out of the way. If you don’t think you can make it just put the shield up and hope you have enough stamina to block most of it.

His last move is pretty much a one shot quit if you take a hit from it. He will fly up and drop himself down on you like the Grey Demon in Demons souls. As long as you are not directly under him when he drops you can survive the hit. The area surrounding him a couple feet will also cause you damage and stagger you if you are to close when he drops. Just roll out of the way and wait for him to drop.

Now on to the fight part of the Dark Souls Stray Demon boss guide. Once you fall heal because he can kill you from the fall. If other little zombies fall with you try to finish them off first because they will just get in the way.

The best advice I can give for this fight is stay behind him but keep the yourself close so he doesn’t use his axe on you. Strike him in the legs when you can because they are the easiest to his.

Once you close the gap lay into him. He will likely put his axe in the air and be ready to do his AoE. Just run behind him and keep a bit of distance so the backlash doesn’t hit you. After it misses run in and poke him a couple times or more until he does another ability.

If he can’t land his AoE he will try to just smash you. Just don’t get caught under him during this and you will be fine. After he misses you and lands on his butt you can strike him a few times before he recovers which is nice.

If you are to far away he will use his axe and AoE combo and you will be rolled. Keep yourself as close as you can and go in and out in and out. Avoid his AoE axe smash and his butt slam and you will beat him after a bit. Just play defensively and only attack when he is not ready and you will get him.

That will end the Dark Souls Stray Demon boss guide. Check back soon for more guides.

Dark Souls Crossbreed Priscilla Guide

This boss is an odd one because you don’t have to fight her if you don’t want. She is called Crossbreed Priscilla and is in the painting world. This Dark Souls Boss Guide will help you bring her down if you wish to kill her. Let’s go.

The first thing for the Dark Souls Crossbreed Priscilla boss guide is her attacks. She will go invisible as soon as you attack and likely one more time before the fight is over.

Her first attack is just a scythe swing. She will swing her scythe at you and you can either block or dodge. It doesn’t hurt to much but I wouldn’t take a hit if you can avoid it.

Her second attack is putting up what almost looks like a blizzard. I’m not really sure what it does but I did notice my stamina drain really fast so I assume it does that. Run out of it.

Her last and most dangerous attack is being invisible. She will go invisible and start attacking you. You can still hit her if you can see where she strikes and it will make her come out of stealth faster. The issue her is she does a lot more damage while stealthed and can make you bleed in two hits. Have those red flowers ready. Roll and run to avoid her hits. If you hit an invisible wall attack or roll so she doesn’t wreck you.

She has a tail and you can cut it off. I wasn’t able to but if you can I think you get her weapon.

Now on to the fight part of the Dark Souls Crossbreed Priscilla boss guide. Once you get inside you can talk to her. She will tell you that if you want to leave just go over to the edge and fall off. She is right you can do that if you want to avoid this fight.

Get behind her and do as much damage as you can as fast as you can to start the fight. She will instantly go stealth and now you have to run around and wait for her to miss. You can tell by the noise she makes form the swing and slightly see the swing. You can take a gamble and hit her or not. I hit her every time I could and it broke her stealth so I’m not sure if she will come out without being hit.

Once she is visible all you have to do is avoid or block the swing. Doing that is fairly easy. Just do as much damage to her as you can while she is visible. I got her down to about 15% before she went stealth again but I had a couple of really good people with me.

Once she is stealth repeat the process like last time then finish her off once she comes out of stealth. Do that and you will win. Good job.

That will end the Dark Souls Crossbreed Priscilla boss guide. Check back soon for more guides.

Dark Souls Iron Golem Guide

The first boss in Sen’s Fortress is called the Iron Golem. This Dark Souls boss guide will help you bring him down quick. He reminds me a lot of the tower knight form the first game and I would advised two others if you can manage it. Let’s go.

First thing for the Dark Souls Iron Golem boss guide is his attacks. He is very large and even his jumps can knock you back and stun you.

His first attack is his swings. He has a large axe which has a huge arc. He can swing it down or to the side. He has a slow swing so if you aren’t mid swing yourself you should be able to dodge either of them no problem. I would advise a roll instead of a block because this one will take a lot of your stamina.

His second attack is a jump. When he jumps back he can stun you briefly and leave you open to attack. If he lands on you it will hurt you but if you are in the general area of his feet you will be stunned. Roll out of the way or run to avoid this.

His last attack is pretty brutal. He will lift his foot up and just start slamming it down. If you care caught under it you better hope you have some good defense or else you are a goner. Once you see his foot go up roll or run out of the way.

He can also launch a ranged attack that sort of looks like wind. If you see him swing in the distance at nothing put your should up or dodge. This is only used at the start of the fight I’ve found.

Now on to the fight part of the Dark Souls Iron Golem boss guide. Once you start you should see him across the bridge. He will try to hit you with his ranged attack which you can easily avoid. If you do and have magic or ranged you can hurt him before he gets to you.

Once he gets to you the real fight begins. If you are ranged you can keep distance and just watch for his jumps but melee has to be wary of everything.

If you see his axe go back or up get out of the way quick.

If you see his foot go up run from him.

If he jumps just wait for him to land then go back and hit him some more.

Avoiding his attack are key to the fight because if he lands one he won’t quit unless someone else in your party is laying into him.

Anyways for a melee all you have to do is attack his legs while you can. He will keep attacking and you keep dodging. At about 25% he will kneel over. This is your chance to really damage him. Go all out because until he recovers he can’t fight back. With enough damage you can finish him here. If not don’t worry he will be really weak and you can finish him before he gets in any major attacks. Good job.

That will end the Dark Souls Iron Golem boss guide. Check back soon for more guides!

Dark Souls Ceaseless Dischard Guide

The next boss in Dark Souls is called Ceaseless Discharge. This boss doesn’t attack you right away but you can see him watching you. This boss guide will help you bring him down on your first try. Let’s go!

The first thing I will do in the Dark Souls Ceaseless Discharge boss guide is go over his attacks. He really only has two and you will only have to deal with one.

His first attack is a fire ball. If he has a clear shot at you and you are far away he will shoot fire at you. Kind of hard to dodge because the path is narrow so just block it with the dragon shield.

His main attack is him using a giant arm to pummel you with. After he attack the arm stays for a couple second and that is how you attack him. Dodging the arm is pretty easy but the shock wave might stun you briefly.

Now on to the fight part of the Dark Souls Ceaseless Discharge boss guide. First off you don’t start the fight(unless you hit him) until you get the armor from the shrine. Once you do that you will hear him roar and that means it is time to run a bit. It doesn’t matter where you run to he will follow on the out skirts and attack you.

The easiest way to kill him is this. There is a small path that has mountains on both sides. Stay in the middle of that and let him see you. He will jerk back and start to swing his arm at you. Once he does that dodge the attack and then hit his arm. This fight is all about timing if you can dodge his arm you will win if you just keep it up. It’s an extremely easy fight this way. Good job.

Dark Souls Pinwheel Guide

The first boss in the catacombs in Dark Souls is called Pin Wheel. He is really easy but it is hard to get to him. He will also drop the Rite of Kindling which means you can hold 15 flasks. Anyways let’s get on with the guide.

First for the Dark Souls Pinwheel boss guide is his abilities. He is really simple but he can do some massive damage if you aren’t careful.

His first ability is a fire ball. He will launch a giant fireball directly in front of himself and do some pretty big damage if you get hit. When you see his hands light up either block or evade so you don’t take as much damage.

His second ability is kind of an AoE energy attack. He will charge up and glow slightly red then release an AoE force around him. It doesn’t do much but you can block it.

His last and most dangerous ability is his split form. He can split up to five times and each one can launch fireballs. Hitting the wrong one will make it disappear while hitting the right one will lower his hp bar. I focused the real one and he died quick.

Next for the Dark Souls Pinwheel boss guide is the actual fight. As soon as you get in rush him and hit him with your strongest attacks. You should be able to get him to about 80% before he starts attacking. Once he does watch out for the fireball. After the fireball hit him again.

At this point he will likely split into 3. Find the real one and lay into him. Do enough and he will disappear and the others will disappear as well. If you are to slow expect some damage from a fireball.

After that he will reemerge and you can hurt him again. Hit him a couple times and he will split again. Find the real one and repeat. At this point you should be able to finish him off with no problems. After that you will also get the Rite of Kindling. Good job.

That will end the Dark Souls Pinwheel boss guide. Check back soon for more guides.

Dark Souls Getting Back To The Asylum

The first area of Dark Souls is the Asylum. You are not there very long because a crow will take you out once you clear the first boss. This guide will help you get back there. It isn’t to hard to let’s do it!

First thing for the Dark Souls getting back to the Asylum guide is activating the elevators. The elevator is in the church that you fought the Bell Gargoyles in. If you already activated this then you can skip this step but this is needed.

The next part of the Dark Souls getting back to the Asylum guide is getting to the crows nest. Take the elevator up and you should see a spot you can walk off or roll off and land on a roof. There is a giant hole in the roof on the left and a grass patch on the right. You want to go to the right and you should see a window type thing opened with a bridge you can roll to. Roll to that bridge and take it up and go through the window.

Now follow the steps up and you will see a item on the roof of a building. You will need that item for the Asylum do get it. You will have to jump down and re do the elevator part but it doesn’t take to long.

The last part of the Dark Souls getting back to the Asylum guide is getting to the Asylum. Follow the steps all the way up and you will see the crows nest. It will give you the option to curl up like a ball. Do so and after about 20 seconds the bird will bring you back to the Asylum. Right behind where you land is the nest if you want to go back to the shrine. Be ready to face off with a new boss here as well.

That will end the Dark Souls getting back to the Asylum guide. Check back soon for more guides!

Dark Souls Easy Souls Guide

In Dark Souls you must use souls to level up. The more you level the more souls it will require to get your next level. This guide will help you get quick and easy souls as you play through the game. Let’s get to grinding.

I am listing areas as I go and I think give a decent amount of souls for the littlest amount of work possible. If you know something I don’t please leave a comment so I can add it and I will give you credit.

Dark Souls quick and easy souls guide 1 – This first one is kind of for the lower level people so if you are above 20 you may want to skip it. At the bridge where the dragon is there are 4 guys. The dragon will kill all these guys in a hit if you run close enough for him to spit fire. They give about 300 souls. Now if you use the ladder to go back down to the bonfire you can respawn them and get these souls about every 30 seconds or so. Just take the ladder back up run into the enemies then run back down the steps so you don’t get hit by the fire.

Dark Souls quick and easy souls guide 2 – In Blight town after you make your way through the swamp and to the campfire near the swamp(the one that has a chest if you take the path all the way up) you will have a black phantom NPC invade your world. This NPC has a giant sword, hardly any armor, and a bad shield. What you want to do is avoid his swings and kill him. His sword has a massive hit time some avoiding it is pretty simple. Anyways avoid it and bring him down and you will get over 8000 souls. Now you can only fight him once but if you put your summon stone at that campfire you can be summoned to someone else’s world and face him again. The fire is before you face him so it is likely they will grab you before venturing fourth since this place is dangerous. After bringing him down again you can either go back to your own world or help him with the boss which nets you an additional 10k souls but is not that easiest fight in the world. Your call.

Dark Souls quick and easy souls guide 3 – After ringing both bells return to the Fire Link Shrine. In the area where a treasure chest was already opened you will see a giant serpent(the area had like ankle deep water and the crow is watching over it). Talk to him and accept what he has to say. After that speak to him again and you can feed him items for souls. He will eat anything that you can get rid of thus making all the equipment and items you don’t use worth something finally. Feed everything you want to him but be warned you can’t get it back.

That will end the Dark Souls quick and easy souls guide. If you know an area that is worth checking out let me know and I’ll give you credit!

Dark Souls Chaos Witch Quelaag Guide

The next big boss in Dark Souls is called Chaos Witch Quelaag. She is a giant spider that can spit fire and has a naked chick on top. This guide will get you through the fight with no problems. The fight is hard so I recommend a friend or two. Let’s get started.

First thing for the Dark Souls Chaos Witch Quelaag boss guide is her abilities. She has a couple but you will most likely be hit by her fire to I recommend the dragon crest shield fir increased fire resistance.

Her first ability is fire spit, well more like lava spit. She will spit fire in a large radius in front of herself and the fire will stick around for about 30 seconds. Stepping into this will result in damage to yourself. Be wary of this attack because you can quickly be cornered and ended if you don’t watch where you are fighting at.

Her next ability is a melee attack. I’m not sure what she uses but a red 360 arc directly in front of her will hit almost anyone in front of her within melee range. I really don’t advise fighting her in the face so you shouldn’t even have to worry about this one.

Her last ability is a tricky one. She lets out an AoE roar that will damage anyone fairly close to her. This is the thing you will have to worry about the most if you are attacking from behind. It’s hard to tell when she will do it, the only thing I noticed was that she roared but she does that for the fire spit as well.

If you are attacking her from the side you will have to watch out of her legs to go up. If they do dodge or else they will come down on you and do some pretty serious damage. If you are on the opposite side of where the legs are coming down you will be fine.

Also note that she can jump fairly far so if you run away to heal make sure you make it a pretty far run.

Now onto the fight part of the Dark Souls Chaos Witch Quelaag boss guide. As stated above bring some help if you can preferably a magic guy and a melee. Having a balanced party really helps in these boss fights.

Almost as soon as you get in there she will try to run at you and spit fire. She does have a brief delay before the fire comes out so you should be able to dodge it and get behind her. While she is spitting the fire you should get in 4-5 hits but don’t stay to long or else she’ll get you with the AoE. While the melee hits her from behind the mage or archer should be ranging her constantly. If either of the get agro from the boss have them kite her a bit while you hit her. For those of you who don’t know what kiting is they basically hold the aggression of the monster on them and run around hitting them without being hit themselves. This allows for the melee to get in and do some major damage, though expect her attention to turn back to the melee shortly.

For about half her HP she will be laying down the fire quite a bit allowing you to do some damage. At about half she will get a bit more aggressive and do the roar and melee swipe more often. Don’t fight her head on because you will be mauled. The roar is hard to dodge but you can block some of the damage if you can tell when it is coming.

Every time she spits fire be sure to get a couple more hits on her just make sure it is on an angle she can’t get you with her fire or melee hit.

This fight is pretty basic just run in and hit her when she spits fire and run out before she ends it. Ranged and mages should try to kite or always keep the pressure on. Never fight her head on or you risk losing the fight. If she is focused on someone else in your party then it is your turn to hit her. Never stick around to long though or else you may risk being killed.

That will end the Dark Souls Chaos Witch Quelaag boss guide.

Dark Souls Easy Humanity Guide
In order to make yourself human again in Dark Souls you need humanity that you will use at a fire. This guide will help you get some quick and easy. This is a work in progress and I will update as I find easier ways.

Dark Souls quick and easy Humanity guide 1 – The fastest and easiest way to get humanity is to join another player and help him kill a boss. I normally place my soul sign right outside the Capra Demon or the Gaping Dragon and do some grinding while I wait for a summon. The Capra Demon is really fast but not worth much while the Gaping Dragon is the opposite. Either way any boss is worth a humanity assuming you survive the fight. I recommend this if you aren’t that far in the game yet.

Dark Souls quick and easy Humanity guide 2 – You can get a humanity from any enemy by chance. Not the actual item you need to use to get it, but just a straight humanity to your body. It isn’t to uncommon but it could take a bit of a grind so I wouldn’t recommend this unless you want some souls.

Dark Souls quick and easy Humanity guide 3 – Rats in the sewers. These guys will drop the humanity item fairly often actually. If I think I need some or just want some extra healing I go down there to the bonfire and clear out all the rats near the Gaping dragon entrance. I can normally get one per run two if I’m lucky. This is the best method I’ve found so far so if you are at the sewer I would use this. If you haven’t made it yet you may have to do one of the above mentioned.

Dark Souls quick and easy Humanity guide 4 – As you are going through the Capra Demon are and before you go into the depths there is a tower. Taking this tower all the way up will open you a shortcut back to the Fire Light shrine(I think that’s what it’s called anyways). In this sewer path there is an undead behind the bars. He will sell you many things including humanity for 5000* (I must of read the thing above it or below it thinking it was only 800) souls. You can do this if you want but I really think finding them is better unless you really want to summon.

That will end the Dark Souls quick and easy Humanity guide. Have a quicker way of doing it thatĀ  I don’t know about? Tell me in the comments and I’ll give you credit.

Dark Souls Gaping Dragon Guide

Okay finally we have a big epic boss. The next boss in Dark SoulsĀ  is called the Gaping Dragon. This guy is really tough and I highly advise you bring two companions and one of them use magic. This guide will help you bring him down when you face him. Let’s do it!

This first thing for the Dark Souls Gaping Dragon boss guide is his abilities. This guy is huge and all his abilities are kind of hard to dodge so a ranged in your group is a plus. Also he has a mage on the third floor shooting down at you. I didn’t try to kill him so I’m not sure if it is possible.

They key to this fight as a melee is in and out in and out. Don’t stay to long and have a mage or archer shooting him constantly.

His first ability is his slam. Pretty basic he will throw himself down on you and try to hurt you. This can be dodged or ran back from. I’m not sure a shield can block it. If he missed he will be down for a couple seconds and you can hit him.

Second ability is a swipe. He can swipe left or right and you can easily roll back or block some of the damage.

Next is the flying slam. He will take off into the air and try to slam on someone. Just run and roll as he is about to land to avoid it.

Lastly the most dangerous is the eat you ability. He will grab you and eat you if you are in front of him or he can grab you. You can tell when he will do it because the mouth will go way back and some rocks will move at his feet. Just run when you see this don’t even bother sticking around for it.

Now onto the fight for the Dark Souls Gaping Dragon boss guide. As stated above constantly be aware of the mage up top or try to kill him.

As soon as you are able to fight this guy will likely be charging you. Dodge it and if he drops down from his slam hit him once or twice. The mage or archer should be firing as well.

Once he recovers try to make him hit a pillar with a slam. This can be done by standing in front of the pillar and dodging his slam. The range should be shooting him still while he does this. Once he gets briefly stunned it is time to cut off his tail. You don’t have to do this but you will get a special axe by doing so, assuming you collect the tail. Anyways by the time you get back there you might only be able to hit him a couple times so run out.

Do this again on another pillar and repeat the process till about half health. At half hp he will get much more aggressive and you will likely be running low on pillars. That’s okay at this point he will be doing the fly slam much more. Once he does that and missed strike him once or twice. Be wary of this though because at this point he is also looking to eat you. Once you see his mouth open wide and his head go back just run away. If you can get him to hit a pillar then good job but if not just dodge the flying slam and burn him down.

Now at about 10% he will go crazy. All he will do now is jump around slamming all over. It is really dangerous for a melee to be close to let the range finish the job while you at this point. If you have no range then you will have to run him into a pillar if you have any. If not then it’s going to be hard. You will have to get to his side and hit him once or twice before he can adjust his angle to hit you. Just use whatever weapon does the most damage for you. I still used the Drake sword on him.

That will end the Dark Souls Gaping Dragon boss guide.
