As usual with Souls DLC, you have to look to actually find where to start it. This time you don’t actually have to get to far in the game to start the DLC. Check out this guide to find out How To Access The Dark Souls 3 Ashes of Ariandel DLC!

Where To Find The Dark Souls 3 DLC Entrance

All that you need to do is get to the Cathedral Of The Deep for this DLC. Warp to the Cleansing Church Bonfire if you have it to start this right away. When you get there, there will be a man near the altar bowing. If you talk to him he will tell you a few things. Keep talking to him and you will trigger a cut scene where you character touches a painting. When the cut scene is done, you will be in the new Painted World of Ariandel. Now you can explore the new snowy world and enjoy even more Dark Souls.

This DLC was targeted for higher level players, 60-70 on their first play through, so if you aren’t that high you might get crushed. Still if you are feeling bold you can access the DLC really early and there might be some weapons or something in there you wan tot use in the base game. Happy hunting everyone!

In Dark Souls 3 you will be able to respec your stat points if you aren’t liking your current build. Finding the place to do this can be very tricky if you don’t know where to look. Check out this guide to find out Where To Respec In Dark Souls III!

How To Respec In Dark Souls 3

Now you can’t do this until you are about 8-10ish hours into the game. First you will want to warp to the Cleansing Chapel Bonfire to get close to the NPC. When you find the NPC you can warp back to her but you need to find her first. You will also need to unlock the doors in the Chapel so if you haven’t done that yet, do it.

Go through the door in the left corner and take the elevator at the end. At the top there will be an Undead archer for you to kill. Go out the doorway and go left immediately, you should still be on a small ledge. Follow it around and take the ladder up. you need to drop from the Bell Tower down to the blue/greenish roof that leads up to the next part of the zone. Follow it up and then take a right. Follow the right path until you find a small hallway you can enter that leads above the Chapel. Up here there are two NPC hunters and some little guys as well. Be careful fighting up here, one wrong move is death.

There is a ledge you will want to drop down to from up here. I took a pic of the ledge that you can see from the hallway you enter. There are normally signs around telling you to drop down as well.

It is right between the NPC hunters so run and drop or fight them off, your choice. Drop down to that ledge and then down again onto the stairs below. The enemies down here put leechs on your so have your torch ready. Hit the switch at the end of the path and then take the doorway to the right of the switch. Take the stairs up and then at the top open the large door in the middle. Inside you will meet Rosaria Mother Of Rebirth. Join her Covenant and then talk to her again.

She takes Pale tongues at currency to increase your reputation with her. Now you can Respec and change your appearance. You will need to bring her 5 tongues and she will let you Respec. This can only be done 5 times per a play through so use them wisely! To get tongues you need to equip Rosaria’s Fingers on the Covenant Screen. When you invade and kill a player you will get a pale tongue as a prize. You can also find a few in the world but they are few and far between.

Where To Find The Covetous Silver Serpent Ring In Dark Souls 3

Alright in order to gain access to The Covetous Silver Serpent Ring you will need to buy the Tower Key from the vendor inside of Firelink Shrine. The key is 20k souls so you should consider it an investment. The Tower Key is used at the tower on the third floor, near the tree. Go up the tower and go onto the bridge. Look down onto the roof of the Firelink Shrine and drop down to a safe spot. You will want to fall onto the lower part of the roof near the edge and follow that around. If you follow it around far enough you will drop onto some stone flooring and you can go up some stairs. Take the stairs and you will be inside the Firelink Shrine but above everyone.

Take the beam inside across to the wall that looks like it could be a bricked in doorway. If you hit it, it will break and you can enter that area. Follow the path to the end and drop down. Here you will find a chest and inside you will find the The Covetous Silver Serpent Ring! As soon as you get the Tower Key you can access it so get it early for maximum benefit!

When you finally get to the Firelink Shrine in Dark Souls 3 you will have to place the Coiled Sword. The Fire Keeper tells you to use it but she doesn’t tell you where. This guide will tell you Where To Use The Coiled Sword In Dark Souls III!

How To Use The Coiled Sword In Dark Souls 3

In order to get the coiled sword you will need to beat the first boss. He isn’t to difficult to bring down, just roll to dodge his swings and watch out for his transformation. When he is finally down you will get the Coiled Sword and you can move on. Fight you way to the Fire Link Shrine and talk to the Fire Keeper there. She will tell you to use the Coiled Sword to proceed to the land of the Lords.

If you look at the center of the ground near the Fire Keeper you can see a bowl with some ash in it. That is where you need to use the Coiled Sword. It does have a specific spot so you might have to circle around it a bit to be able to interact with it. When the sword is finally down you can use it to teleport to Lothric. The real journey will start here, good luck.

Boss Souls in Dark Souls 3 can be used to create some extremely powerful weapons and equipment. The ability to do this is hidden and if you aren’t paying attention you might miss it. This guide will tell you Where To Use Boss Souls In Dark Souls III!

Where To Use Boss Souls In Dark Souls 3

In order to use Boss Souls to create weapons and equipment you will need the Tranposing Kiln key item. You get this by defeating the Cursed Greatwood(giant tree) boss in the Undead village. For anyone having trouble with the boss he has a weak point. On his body you can see some white sacs sticking out. Hit those until they break and you will do massive damage and stun him. The idea is to break the one on his stomach and then go for the smaller ones on his roots. You can chain 3-4 stuns before he breaks the floor if you are quick enough.

After you beat the Cursed Greatwood, head back to the Firelink Shrine. Go speak with Ludleth at his throne and give him the Transposing Kiln. He will now be able to use boss souls to craft weapons and equipment. Most souls craft into multiple items but you can only pick one so be careful. You cannot get a soul back out of a weapon after you craft it. If you want something else you will have to re roll or go to New Game +.

Pyro spells is another type of magic you can learn in Dark Souls 3. The guy who teaches you new spells is hidden and can easily be missed by those who don’t know where to look. Check out this guide to find out Where To Learn Pyro Spells In Dark Souls III!

Where To Learn Pyro Spells In Dark Souls 3

If you have the Cliff Underside Bonfire then you can skip down a bit because he is near there. Most people won’t have this bonfire because it is kind of hidden so I will help them find that first.

Head to the Diapidated Bridge Bonfire in the Undead Settlement. When you are there, follow the path to the Undead with the giant saw. Kill him and then go through the doorway to the graveyard. If you haven’t killed the Giant Archer yet watch out for his arrows. You will need to cross to the building on the other side. When you are there, go through it and into the massive stone looking building outside of it.follow the hallway to the massive doors and open them. Go down the steps and then go up the other set of stairs that leads into the village. You will want to go all the way up and kill the Undead waiting at the top. When he is dead there are still two above that will throw firebombs down. You will want to run to the stone bridge near the fire barrels. From there you can look down and set a path underneath the Undead bombers. Drop down there and get the Cliff Underside Bonfire.

From the Cliff Underside Bonfire head out the door in front of you. Follow the path up the roofs to get to the Undead bombers. Kill them and keep going down the path. At the end of the path you will find a guy locked in a cage. Talk to him and ask him to teach you spells and he will join you at the Firelink Shrine. You can find him down the steps to the right of the Blacksmith, he kind of blends in. You can give him Pyromancy Tomes to increase his stock of Spells also.

When you first arrive in Irithyll of the Boreal Valley in Dark Souls 3, you will need an item to enter. The item is hidden in another part of the world and you will have to go find it. This guide will tell you Where To Find The Doll For Boreal Valley In Dark Souls III!

Where To Find The Doll For Boreal Valley In Dark Souls 3

To find the Small Doll in Dark Souls 3 you will have to defeat the Deacons Of The Deep boss. The Deacons Of The Deep are the bosses of The Cathedral Of The Deep. The boss is basically a ton of little enemies instead of one big boss. There will be one Undead with a red glow on them, that is the one you need to kill. At about half HP the real Deacon will spawn and you need to take care of him. He is still a small boss but has more hp then the rest.

You need to be careful when you start to cross the bridge because there is a guard dog. A large wolf like beast will spawn behind when you are crossing the long bridge. He isn’t to tough so if you are level 30+ you should be able to deal with him. If you don’t want to fight him you can just run and cross through the barrier. Make sure you grab the bonfire here and good luck hunting the next Cinder Lord!
