How To Add Powerful Elemental Effects To Weapons In Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare Zombies
Activate Pack-A-Punch
The first step to adding elemental effects to weapons in Infinite Warfare’s zombies is activating the Pack-A-Punch. To activate you must travel to all 3 areas, activate the electric switch, activate the portal and then travel through the portal to return to the starting area. Once all portals are activated you can enter the portal in the starting area to unlock the Pack-A-Punch room.
Arcane Core
After you have activated the Pack-A-Punch you need to purchase an Arcane Core. You can find these in the ticket booths scattered around the map, such as the one outside the entrance to Polar Peak. They cost 300 Tickets. You can get tickets completing challenges for N31L or completing games in the arcade.
Activate Elemental Trap Challenge
Once you’re inside the Pack-A-Punch room look to the left of the Pack-A-Punch machine and you should see a special jar. Hold the interact button until you hear a special noise. This opens the ability to complete the Elemental trap challenge.
Activate The Traps
Once you have activated the special jar you need to head each of the zones and check the traps. In a random order each trap will spawn a flying UFO that hovers around the trap. Locate the trap with the UFO and then activate the trap to kill zombies. You have to kill enough zombies for the UFO to stop circling the trap. This can sometimes take 3-4 activations of the trap.
Once the UFO stops circling the trap it will start to fly around the immediate vicinity. Kill zombies near the flying UFO and you’ll notice a white beam going from each zombie you kill to the UFO, absorbing their souls. Do this for a few minutes and eventually the UFO will drop a small glowing orb. Each UFO drops a different orb including elemental effects such as Fire, Lightning, Poison and Wind. Simply grab the one you want and you’re good to go.
