The Research and Development area of Borderlands The Pre-Sequel will get side quests after you beat the area. Coming back to do them will net you some bonus Exp and some decent weapons. This guide will help you get through the area and all the quests you find.

Borderlands The Pre-Sequel Research And Development Side Quests

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection – Infinite Loop

I don’t remember where I got this one but I think it was from Jack. Once you go to the way point you will hear Claptraps talking about the weapons they are making. After that you will go get a bolt to lock down one of the Claptraps. The one of the left gives a Cyrogrenade upgrade and the one on the right gives a corrosion laser.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection – It Aint Rocket surgery

Go to the ! on the R&D map to find Dr. Spara. first she will want you to collect three Trak brains right outside the rocket area. After that head to the next way point and kill Stalkers for their wings. Once you have the wings head to the three way points and collect the blood. Once you return put the rockets together and launch the first one.

After that you will have to go collect some Dahl brains at the next two way points. You will have to score head shots to get the brains to come out. After you get the brain return to the rockets and put a brain into the second rocket. After that rocket fails combine the two brains and freeze it. Launch the final rocket and you can complete this quest.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection – Fresh Air

You find this at a ! on the R&D map. All you have to do is wait for him to open the window then you close it yourself.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection – Lab 19

Another one found in the R&D area at a ! point on the map. After you get the quest head to the first way marker and grab the echo. After that head to the lab and try to open the container. You will need to get the code from the other way point then rush back to the lab. The code is on the wall right before the Aquatic Observation Area. After you get the code return to the lab and look to the right of the console to find where you need to put the code in at. You will have to shoot the numbers to enter the right code. Once the code is entered use the console again. Kill the mini destroyer and you can turn the quest in.

Borderlands The Pre-Sequel Guide: Jack's Office Side Quest Guide

The next side quest area in Borderlands The Pre-Sequel is Jack’s Office. It isn’t as big as Concordia but there are still a couple tricky quests to do. This guide will help you get through the side quests with no trouble at all.

Borderlands The Pre-Sequel Jack’s Office Side Quests

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection – Boarding Party

You get this quest from the bounty board in Jack’s office. The first echo device is over the red wall and in the locked container. The second echo is on a hanging TV in the way point, the TV glows green. The third echo is in a weapon locker in the Clatrap store. The fourth is on a ledge coming out of a drain. To access the drain go to the left of the way point and hit the green switch on the wall. This will open the shutter and let you access the drain.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection – Voice Vver

You get this from the bounty board in Jack’s Office. Head to the way point on the map and take out all the Lost Legion soldiers. After you kill them collect the three echo devices and return them to the console.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection – Urgent Message

This quest is at the bounty board in Jack’s office. Head to the security way point on the map and open the door. Inside you will have to kill all the Lost Legion guys before you can talk to the NPC. Once you let him out you will have to defend him for a couple minutes then transmit his message.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection – Paint Job

After you complete the quest “An Urgent Message” you will get this quest from the NPC in the security area. Go to the way marker and get the pain from the crate. After you have the paint head to Jack’s office and talk to Claptrap and give him the paint. After that doesn’t work you will need to go find some flowers. The flowers are right outside the office. After you get the flowers plant them to get the next part of the quest.

Turns out they are a fire hazard so you have to burn them. Equip a fire weapon and burn the flowers down. Return to the security area to turn in the quest.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection – Kill Meg

Another one from the NPC in the security area. All you have to do is go to the way point and kill Meg. After you do that unlock the gun shop and return to the NPC to turn in.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection – Hot Head

Another quest you get from the bounty board in Jack’s office. Head to the way point and open the closet to find Dean. After you get the objective to cool him down use a ice gun on him. After that interact with his frozen body and pick up the item to complete the quest.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection – Cleanliness Uprising

You get this form the ! on the Hyperion Hub Of Heroism Map. Knock over the trash can and wait for the cleaning bot to come to you then pick it up. At the next way point shot the green pipe and pick up the next robot. Go to the last way point and collect the last robot. After you have all three return to the shop to complete the quest.

Borderlands The Pre- Sequel Guide: Concordia Vault Symbol Locations

The Vault Symbols make a return in Borderlands The Pre-Sequel and they are still tricky to find. There are three symbols to find in Concordia. This guide will help you find the symbols so you can get more Badass rank!

Borderlands The Pre-Sequel Concordia Vault Symbols

I went for these after I dealt with the Meriff so I’m not 100% sure if you can get all them before then.

Borderlands The Pre-Sequel Concordia Vault Symbol 1 – Head over to Springs’ shop and look outside for two trash cans and a fan. Use the trash cans to get up on top of the shop. Near a couple of lootable cardboard boxes you can see the symbol on the ground. It is near the spinning Springs’ sign on the building.

Borderlands The Pre-Sequel Concordia Vault Symbol 2 – Now if you haven’t moved yet good but if you did go back to where the first symbol was. From there follow the path around the building to the right until you see a building with a dish on it. Jump up to that building and look across towards a higher platform. You should see two large propane looking tanks that you can jump to. Do that and jump up to the top platform.

Go all the way across that platform until you see the electrical fuse box you had to blow up for a quest earlier. On the platform to the right of that you can see the symbol on the ground.

Borderlands The Pre-Sequel Concordia Vault Symbol 3 – Make your way back to the first symbol and head around to the right again. This time stop at the two lootable cardboard boxes and the metal mushroom looking thing. Jump onto the metal thing and then onto then higher onto Spring’s shop. Use the other metal thing to jump even higher onto the next platform. On the back of the building up there you can find the symbol on the wall at the top.

Where To Respec And Change Skins In Borderlands The Pre-Sequel

In Borderlands The Pre-Sequel you can change your outfit color and your skill tree if you don’t like what you have. Unfortunately you don’t gain access to this until a bit later in the game. Find out where you can change your skin and respec in Borderlands The Pre-Sequel here!

Borderlands The Pre-Sequel Changing Skins And Respec

Both of these are done at the same station in Concordia. Once you arrive in Concordia head over to Moxxi’s bar and look to the right. Next to the vending machines you will see a station that has a silhouette in it. This is where you can change your outfit and respec. Also while on the topic of Moxxi’s bar, you can gamble there if you want.

Anyways use the station and you can look through all the skins you currently have. If you stop over one you can see what color it will change your character to. If you have found another head you can also change that here as well. Skins and heads can be acquired through quests and sometimes by winning at the slot machines.

Now the respec is pretty basic. You go in, click reset skill point, pay your money and bam you get all your skills back. The higher level you are the more this will cost so its best to experiment early. Ultimately if you feel like you are getting over ran constantly a respec may be the best option for you.

Concordia is the main city in Borderlands The Pre-Sequel and it has tons of side quests to do. You will also run into a few old friends while you are here. This guide will help you find all the side quests in the area and beat them with no trouble at all!

Borderlands The Pre-Sequel Concordia Side Quests

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection – Wherefore Art Thou?

You get this quest from the bounty board after Moxxi opens the exit for you. Go to the way point and you should be able to see a crashed car in the area. Go over to that and on there you can find the recorder. Go to the next way marker and inside the building on the right you can find Deirdre.

She will want you to kill her sister who is across the map. Head over there with the vehicle that shoots rockets. Once you arrive at the way point she will try to drive away. Chase her down and finish her. Once you kill her return to Deirdre for your reward.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection – The Empty Billabong

You get this quest in the Crisis Scar at the ! on the map. Talk to the guy and he will ask you to check on his partner. Go to the way point and grab the echo recorder when you can. After that go kill the enemies at the way point and return the tuckerbag to Peepot to complete this quest.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection – A bunch Of Iceholes

You get this from Nurse Nina in Concordia. Head to the way point in the Triton Flats. Once you get there place the ice drill but don’t sit on that ice long. The ice around the drill will drain your HP. Once the drill finishes the first part grab the ice and the drill. Make sure all enemies around you are dead or it will be hard to pick up the drill. When you fight the Shuggraths of ice aim for their eyes. On the third drill a giant Shuggrath will appear that you need to kill to get the drill back. I used my special on it and had no trouble.

Claptrap gives you a shotgun and Nina gives you an assault rifle.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection – Grinders

You get this one from Springs after you return to Jack in Concordia. Once you go to the area in the Triton Flats the quest will change to Stanton’s Liver. You are going to have to fight a small army to get to the way marker in the Liver. Once you get to the way point and everyone is dead jump on top of the train. From there jump up to the roof and you can see the glowing green boxes for the quest. After you hit it an enemy will spawn that you need to kill. Use the explosives on the grinder and you can complete the quest.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection – To Arms!

You will need to donate 50 uncommon weapons to the Troll Booth in Triton Flats. This is one that you just need to go drop off some weapons every time you get a full inventory. 50 seems like a lot at first but upgrade your backpack a couple of times and you can get it done in a few runs. The common weapons are the white ones.

After about 10 you will get another objective to retrieve the stolen guns. Go to the way point in a rocket vehicle and kill enemy vehicles. They will drop crates that you need to bring back to the drop off point.

At about 20 he gives you another objective to go check on some of the members. After you find out they are dead go to the next way point and just kill enough Scavs to get the guns. Return to the gun drop off point to complete this part.

At 30 you get another objective. Head to the way point and pick a partner. Doesn’t really matter who, just means you will be killing the other two. Pick the lvl 11 if you want the best shot.

At 40 some enemies will rush you and you just have to kill them to beat this part. Finally after you give all 50 guns go to Concordia and listen to the message. After that hit the bounty board and get your reward.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection – Zapped 1.0

Another one you find at a ! on the map in Triton Flats. You can find the target you need to kill in Stanton’ Liver, in the bottom left corner. After you kill Swagman grab his gun and then you will have to kill 15 Scavs with it. There are more than enough in the area to get 15. After you kill a few you will get the optional objective to ignite 5 as well. Go into a building that has oxygen and lure the Scavs in. Once they are burning finish them off to get the bonus as well.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection – All The Little Creatures

You get this from the bounty board in the Triton Flats. This is in the area called Stanton’s Liver so head there. You will have to fight your way to the pump station then turn the valves. You have to make all the valves red. I went random with it and got it eventually so I don’t know the order. After you get them all to red go down and kill the cuties. After that return to the board to turn the quest in.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection – Recruitment Drive

You get this one after you finish All The Little Creatures, you need a fire weapon to complete this quest. You need to put up three posters and burn three enemy posters. Once you pick up the posters the timer will start so have a moon buggy ready.

Hit the one at the Troll Booth first because that one is closest. You can make it to this one before the timer goes down and save a bit of time. From there go in a circle and hit all the poster spots. Remember the ones you need to burn will be in an area with oxygen.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection – Pop Racing

You get this from a ! in the Triton Flats. Once you get the quest go spawn a vehicle and go to the start line. You are going to need to use the boost to beat the timer. If you are lucky you can pull the race off the first time but the vehicles in this game are trash at handling even for a Borderlands game. I had to try three times to learn the course and beat the timer. After you win his dad will come out and you can kill him.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection – Zapped 2.0

This time you need to kill Tarks in Stanton’s Liver with the laser gun. The optional objective will be to smash the Tarks after you have froze them. Once you you run out of Tarks in the first area go up to the cave to find more. To shatter them just melee them when they are frozen.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection – Zapped 3.0

Once you return to Springs she will give you the last quest. Go outside her office and kill the Claptraps with your quest laser. Torque will then ask you to go to some coordinates in the Serenity Wastes. Pick up the beacon then go to the next way point and put your laser down. After that use the jump pad and get ready for one of the most annoying NPCs in the game.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection – Wiping The Slate

You get this from the bounty board after you get the AI during the main mission. Go up to the Meriff’s office and hit the green switch on his map table. Climb the ladder up the tank and grab the echo. After you listen to the echo destroy it.

At the second way point there are some glowing green books. Hit that switch and smash the safe to get the next echo.

After you destroy the second one go to the third way point. Hit the switch to open the shutter then play the slot machine. Once it finished grab the echo and head to Moxxi. After you drop off the echo there go to the statue and shoot off the head. after that attach it to the rocket and blast off!

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection – Nothing Is Never An Option

This is a Springs quest that you get after you get the AI during the main quest. Use the fast travel station to go to the Outlands Spur. Head to the way point on the map, use the geyser under the rocks to get up the cliff. You will need to fight off 3 waves of Scavs and a mini boss to beat the quest. Avoid the edge so you don’t get knocked off.

Borderlands The Pre-Sequel Guide: Springs' Side Quest Guide

Once you finally arrive on Elpis you will be introduced to Springs. She will help you get into the city on Elpis and also give you some extra quests to do if you want. This guide will help you get through the quests with no trouble at all!

Springs’ Side Quests

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection – Lost Legion Invasion

You can’t miss this quest when you arrive at the moon. You need to make it to a building across the moon without an O2 tank. If you run all the way to the way point you can make it without losing all your hp. Try to open the door then break the locks with your melee attacks. Once you go inside clear out the enemies and grab the O2 tank. If you look across the gap there is also a chest you can open if you jump across. Springs will come to that building after you get the O2 tank.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection – Land Among The Stars

After you get your O2 tank a couple of more quests open up. This one has to be done back at her base. Once you are at her base head out the way you first came in and go to the jump pad(bulls-eye on the mini map). Jump up the side of the cliff in order to get to the pad. First you jump, then you shoot two targets and lastly you do a ground slam on the pad in front of you. Make sure you use a gun that shoots at a normal speed or else the targets will be hard to hit.

After you do that grab the cash that pours out and head back into the base. Use the printer and return to Springs for your reward. Personally I went with more O2 in the tank so I could explore longer.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection – Follow Your Heart

After you complete “Land Among The Stars” you can get this quest from Springs. Take the items from the base and then head for Regolith Range. Once in there clear out the enemies in the first area. If you look up and to the left you will see some platforms leading up to an NPC. Follow those up to the NPC and give him all the stuff. He is at the bulls-eye on the mini-map.

After that kill him and recollect the posters. His body went flying for me so I had to do some jumps to get all my posters. After you get the posters just go put them up. You will have to fight enemies and sometimes jump up to place them.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection – Tales From Elpis

After you get the quest head for the first way marker. You can see the quest item hanging off a cliff. Drop down to the left and break the rocks near there to activate a geyser. Use the geyser to get near the quest item then float to grab it.

After that head to the next way point and use the switch to open the door. Grab the Echo recorder and then you will have to kill a enemy outside the base. I just used my special and didn’t have any trouble with him. After you kill him grab the last recorder and head back to Springs.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection – Marooned

Once you get you OZ pack from Spring she will give you the quest to kill Deadlift. Head to the Regolith Range and try to use the jump pad. After that fails go reset the fuse and use yourself to get power back to the jump pad. Then go take the jump pad and you will fight Deadlift. He is level 5 and is very annoying to fight. He jumps around a ton and spawns adds. Only thing I can suggest is use your special a lot and get some friends to help! Watch out when he goes to a station and plugs in. the ground around him becomes deadly.

After you kill Deadlift get the key and head to the way point. After that return to Springs for your reward.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection – Torgue-o Torgue-o

After you return from killing Deadlift you can get this quest. Use the vehicle to jump the gap to the way point then use the mission weapon to antagonize the Kragans. Once they are rolling at you use them to break the door down and grab the light reactor. You can drop the it into the lava and get a Torque weapon or return it to Springs for a laser. Personally I thought the Torque guy was insanely annoying so I went with the laser.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection – Nova? No Problem!

You get this one after you return to Springs. Head to the the Regolith Range and go to the way marker. Hit the switch and enter the vault area. With the shield given to you for the quest you need to disable 4 cameras and the safe at the same time. I cleared out all the enemies then I used the bars to harm myself enough for the shield to blow. Get in the center of all the cameras and they will all go down.
