How To Change Fire Rate In Battlefield 2042

In order to change the fire rate of the weapon, you will have to aim down your sights first. When you are aimed down the sight you can switch your fire rate on console with the down button on the d-pad, and V on PC by default. You can make most assault rifles a single shot rifle this way, making it alot easier to handle the gun and land shots.

Be sure you don’t do this while you are in the middle of a fight though. The animation to switch the lever will make it so you can’t fire until it completes, leaving you an easy target. Single shot for far shots, full auto for closer shots is the way to do it. Be sure to check your pistols as well, some of those can go full auto or even burst mode. Test the gun before you go into actual combat as well.

How To Call In Vehicles And Equipment In Battlefield 2042

In order to call in vehicles and equipment, you have to be on certain maps and in certain modes. Click Q on pc or R1 (Right bumper) on console and it will open up a menu with a few different options. The top one is to call in vehicles and equipment. You can only have a certain amount on the field at any time. If the slots are filled then you aren’t calling in anything until something breaks down.

You cannot call in stuff for your team if you don’t control the area. If you are playing the user made content then you might not be able to call in anything because of the rules. The older game modes don’t have the call in feature, so those won’t have the option. Also be sure to call it in somewhere it won’t get shot to pieces. No point in calling in a tank is a fighter jet blows it up on the way to the ground.

How To Do Takedowns In Battlefield 2042

Alright so there are a couple of ways you can do a take down. Both methods will require you to be behind the target. You need to be like right behind them, not slightly to the left, straight behind them. From there you can hold down the melee button and you will perform an execute on the target in front of you. If you have the knife equipped you can just hold the attack button down and that will do the trick. This is a little more risky because you need to aim, but you can do it.

Doing this will put you in an animation and you better believe someone will try to come and back stab you as soon as you are out of it. You need to weigh the pros and cons of exposing yourself for that long for a single kill. Or you can just say screw it and look cool as you drop some dude who thought he could kill you. Either way, that’s how you do a takedown in Battlefield 2042.
