You find the clues to the kings whereabouts from the Zora children playing in the thrown room. You have to hide behind the thrown and use a “listen” prompt when close to hear the children tell a story. During the story they give the location of the king away, saying he is “behind a clean waterfall somewhere between Ploymus Mountain and the domain”. It may seem a bit daunting but this clue really narrows it down as there’s only two waterfalls that match that description and both are close to the domain.

Just East of Zora’s Domain is a small lake called Lulu Lake. This is just South West of Ploymus Mountain. The lake is at the foot of a huge waterfall but you don’t want to focus on the big waterfall. Investigate the lake at the bottom of the waterfall and you will see a small entrance in the rocks on the Northern side of the lake. There’s a tiny waterfall here that falls into a room below.
Jump into the small gap with your glider and glide to the bottom. There you will find the king and the Pristine Sanctum. The next objective in this questline will task you with finding the land of the sky fish.
