When you are rolling up to the two Scarecrows, hallucination Joker will try to make play mind games with you. It is pretty funny if you sit a listen to him use LEFT and RIGHT in the sentences. He will keep going for awhile too if you got some time to kill.
Ultimately the choice doesn’t seem to matter. I choose the left Scarecrow and got blasted by the real one on the right. This seems like a key story moment so I imagine if you pick the right he will actually be on the left. If you can get it right the Scarecrow would be on the right since I got it wrong on the left. Either way you can expect to be blasted by the fear toxin.
After that you will go through a bit of a hallucination and have to fight off some enemies. This all leads up to the confrontation with Scarecrow and the Arkham Knight. After the whole thing is said and done, Scarecrow will broadcast a message to you and the rest of the city.
