It’s worth noting, before diving into trying to get into a group with friends, there are some restrictions. Babylon’s Fall does support cross-platform play between both PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC, but it does not support cross-region play. The region is not determined by your PSN account or any VPN or anything, it’s based on the Square Enix account you created when you started Babylon’s Fall.

Depending on whether or not you are the host or the player joining, there are two different steps to take. We’ll break it down so it’s as easy as possible to understand.

For The Host
Once in-game, open the menu and navigate to the “Community” tab. On the Community tab you will see options for User Profile, Communication, Players in HQ, etc. Ignore those and look in the top right corner of the screen. You will see a HQ Code. Give that code to the friend you want to join.

For The Joining Player
Get the HQ Code from the host (explained above) and then navigate to the “Community” tab in the menu in-game. Once on the Community Tab, select, Input HQ Code, and input the code given by the host.

Missions in Babylon’s Fall are divided into three categories. Daily, Weekly, Seasonal. They are additional categories, such as Festivals, that will be unveiled as the game progresses through the seasons but currently, at the time of Early Access Release, those are the only three. This is relevant because mission rewards are not tied to quest rewards.

You will most often see the “Mission Rewards Available” notification after completing a quest while having a Mission Reward still outstanding. When you return from a quest head left and go into the room with the Quest Board. You will see Sophia standing in the distance. Approach Sophia and speak with her. This is where you can check all of your current Daily, Weekly, and Seasonal Missions.

You will see what Missions have been completed and what Missions remain outstanding. You can either claim all of your rewards one by one, or simply claim them all. Each time you complete a quest and you see the Mission Rewards Available notification, return to Sophia to claim your rewards.

If you want to claim the Insignia and all of the different armor pieces, you need to follow the tutorial until you arrive in town. This is the first opportunity you’re given to explore the area. You can speak to different NPC’s, check out the shops, grab quests, etc. At this point, you are able to claim your DLC items.

Running around town, look for the icon of a chest (an odd chest but still a chest) with light beams reaching out from the top. It’s up the stairs, just outside of the tavern area. This is your inbox. Simply open the chest to claim all of your Digital Deluxe Edition rewards.

This guide on Where To Find Your Inbox In Babylon’s Fall will tell you where the Inbox is located so you can track it down and claim your items, getting rid of the big notification at the top of the screen.

This is actually really simple but can be confusing for some players as traditionally, the inbox is more of a user-interface option than a physical location. Most games use the inbox as a letterbox style feature, receiving notifications and items in a delivery box that can be easily accessed from a menu or interface. Babylon’s Fall is a little different as the Inbox is actually a physical location within the town.

Where To Find Your Inbox In Babylon’s Fall

When you start Babylon’s Fall, after the tutorial inside the town, you will begin in the tavern area – near the NPC that changes your appearance. Take the stairs to the right and this leads outside. Then walk across the courtyard and up some other stairs.

You will find a chest with an icon on it. The icon, which you can see from far away, is like a chest with rays of light shining off of it. Head to that icon and you can investigate the chest to claim all of the rewards from your inbox.
